Microwave French Fries Maker

Can't give you a review. Received no instructions on usage or putting it together so that it didn't slide apart and ruin the potatoes. Wouldn't waste my money again.J. Gunter

IT DID EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED IT TO DO. MAKE CRISPY FRENCH FRIES IN THE MICROWAVE! NO MORE FRYING IN GREASE!

Instructions on how to use was not very clear. If not locked together right it comes apart and the french fries go all over. The time it takes to put the fries in the slots is a little anoying.

Bought this at a thrift store sale for very little $$...so I figured...why not....if it is a waste of time...all I'm out is one tater and a buck fifty?Did not have any expectations of golden crunchy mc donald fries...but cut a potato and placed the fries in it...microwaved it for 17 minutes...and then checked every minute or so because you have to be vigilant with the microwave.Well...it does work...the fries that come out are cooked and hot...and as in ALL microwaved cooking schemes...they are not brown...but they had a bit of a crust to them and with a little salt n pepper and a dab of catsup...they were pretty tasty...once again...not fast food quality or baked in the oven quality...but relatively quick and easy and quick and easy clean up.I think the American public in general is always looking for the easy way and the quickest way without all the waiting and thats why this is not going to be a keeper for a lot of folks...but it does what it says it's gonna do...it makes a passable. quick, relatively nutritious version of the french fried potato. Much in the same way that you can make mashed potatoes out of cauliflower...it's not the REAL thing...but it's better for you and pretty close.Is it worth the $10.00 ? I don't think so...but if you chance upon one in the thrift or the yard sale...go on'''it's kinda fun and there's no guilt in enjoying a few fries with your meal.....
