For the sake of clarity, this item is for ONE package of EIGHT crumpets and not for eight packages. If you think $35 for eight crumpets is an equitable value, then go for it.

Classic British crumpet abroad
I ordered them and received them within one day, which was wonderful. I was having a British withdrawal. Nothing like having a good crumpet with butter and jam. However, it wasn’t as fresh as I have had in the past. I was a little upset about that, but it was still the same. Excellent quality as pastry goes. Taste wonderful. I don’t know what the shelflife is, but I think it had been around maybe longer than it should have. My friends were happy with it. I thought it was a little dry. But the butter made up for it and that texture that is quintessentially the crumpet. It beats the pants off English muffins anytime. I just wish I had my own personal British chef or baker anyway

Typical price but not the best crumpet out there
I bought these because I can no longer find my favorite crumpets McCree’s at my local store. These are okay but just not up to the good flavor of McCree’s. They’re not quite as soft and have a tendency to stick to the package

The blandest thing I’ve ever eaten
0/10, felt like I was eating air. Even with jelly it’s pointless, not worth it to try for the sake of trying. Just go eat a Thomas english muffin.

Crumpets fail
Disappointed. I love crumpets but they are not readily available in my area. The price was OK. They recently raised the price...the flavor did not improve however
