Review posted a few months after. I had the Remarkable 2 and decided to upgrade. Love love LOVE!!!! The new one is on the right, to show a comparison. The battery does not last as long as the prior one but it’s a bigger screen with color ink so I don’t mind. I charge it every 3-4 days.

It's perfect for business

This is a great device and helps me to stay organized. I have always had notebooks and lists scattered everywhere, but this device has eliminated that issue. It’s great for sketches, note taking, list making, and basic draft writing. It syncs with my phone, so if I write a list it is with me wherever I go. For me, it is nice that it doesn’t have apps, notifications, or any other distractions. I don’t want something with all of that. It would totally defeat the purpose for me. I do wish the cost was lower and that there were more text features. But, I am not going to lower the rating as those things don’t negate how beneficial the device is to me personally. It is in its own category and boasts some very unique innovation. I look forward to seeing this product and market expand.

I learn best by writing out my notes, but organization of paper notebooks is suboptimal, bought the remarkable 2 to try out for school and loved it so much I swapped it for the paper pro. As a college student I think this is worth the money so I dont mind the steep price. The fact its also distraction free is also a big plus not a downside for me. Classmates all want to get one but the money is the problem for college students I suppose

This is truly one of the best purchases I’ve made this year!! It works so well, even better than I expected actually. You don’t have to charge the keyboard and if you don’t know it’s included in the case you really wouldn’t be able to tell! It’s so light and it connects to the remarkable really easy! The magnet is strong, I’ve never had any problems and it doesn’t slip out of the case or anything. The value of having a protective cover AND keyboard option is worth every penny! The only downside is that I have a white dog, and the texture of the case attracts his fur. That’s a user error though! lol

Keyboard feels good to type on, and the magnetic strap to hold the pen is a nice feature. However, there are three defects. First, the fabric gets dirty easily. Second, the thin side of the case touches upon the screen and the thick keyboard side is on the backside. That means the screen side is not well protected. Third, the thin side is very flimsy and easily bendable. It does not really protect the screen at all. Thus, I was sad to see that my screen broke while the tablet was in this keyboard case. I was on the 50th day and have a connect subscription so Remarkable was kind enough to replace it. Do not trust this to protect your expensive reMarkable Paper Pro. Use more protection.

The Remarkable Pro has the potential to change how I write novels, or anything, for that matter. In one device I have access to all my documents on One Drive, and my Remarkable Pro documents, alike. It is incredibly convenient and organized, (although it’s at its most powerful after you set up a folder and notebook system. ) The main flaws I have with found in them is that the text to type function isn’t that great. And that on occasion the pages aren’t very responsive when you turn them. But I have had my Remarkable Pro for four months now and I use it whenever I write my novel. I love the fact that detailed notes are now easily accessible, and portable. I really can’t speak highly enough of it.
