Definitely worth the investment! Review: This is difficult to explain, but it works easily and simply - I have been struggling with LYME Disease for a decade now (that's 10 years). I received this book and looked up 'abdominal pain' my biggest and most prevalent symptom. I read through her 'stuff' halfheartedly, when I finished that small section (which took about 7 minutes) my pain had reduced from a 7 to a 2!!!! I was SHOCKED. I started reading the book from the beginning and learning more. I redid the abdominal pain exercises again (now with more hope an belief) and I was able to completely eliminate my pain!!! She said to do the exercises once a day for a month if the symptoms have been chronic, which mine definitely had. But now that I was feeling better, I had things to do, and so I didn't look at it again until 3 days, then again 2 or 3 days after that. By this time, I literally had no more stomach pain, didn't matter what I ate or anything (I had been on a low FODMAP diet which helped some) whereas this book completely eliminated my symptoms all together. My doctor was surprised, shocked and genuinely happy for me! I am approaching my 2-month mark since I started 'using this book to heal.' And it hasn't been a pain-free ride, and I've had some days that I haven't been very functional. BUT I've had nothing like what I was living with before this book. Overall I am better in every measurable way. I continue to 'feel' my body gets stronger and healthier each day/week. I can now walk miles without problems, whereas before a short 10 or 15 minute walk may have put me in bed the rest of that day, and all day the next day, with such extreme fatigue. She says the goal is to start to use my feelings as indicators of unease and address them instead of pushing them down and ignoring them, which turns into physical symptoms over time. So far, I'm 100% in agreement with her. This book is life changing for me. If I didn't get any better than I am now, I would not be able to recommend this book enough, but I continue to get better and better. Brain fog (with Alzheimer and dementia type symptoms) was my next worst symptom with Lyme Disease. And now on Duolingo (a free language learning app/website) I have been learning Esperanto for 14 days now. I can walk to a room and not forget why I am there, I can keep lists of things I want to get at the store in my head, I can have conversations and not forget about what we are talking about. My brain is starting to function again, and keeps getting better and better. This is amazing!!! If you have any physical symptoms, colds, cough, congestion, stuffy nose, stub your toe, sprain an ankle, let alone any diagnosed disease, get this book now, and easily heal yourself in a matter of minutes. There is nothing more cost effective for one's health than this book. And if you get it and it doesn't work, you have 30 days to send it back and you lost nothing. Truly nothing to lose and literally everything to gain. For ten years I have dreamed of dying, simply to leave the pain and agony of surviving, without health life is very difficult. This book has become a staple in my holistic practice! Such a beautiful book for reference and educating on a spiritual/energetic level about the body and how our emotions show up in physical ailments. Truth is, once you identify the emotions/experience tied to a physical ailment/dis-ease, and work on THAT, all else follows. Because everything we experience physically starts energetically FIRST. This is difficult to explain, but it works easily and simply

Great book
An eye opener for me and my patients

Very Interesting, Healing, Useful: Emotions= Illness
This is a very interesting book that talks about how emotions affect the body, and using affirmations and color to help heal. This is an oversimplification for a really wonderful book. I really like this author and her work. She also sells group of color cards where you can focus on each color for healing. Usually I feel a negative response when doing affirmations because I don’t believe them. However, I feel like hers are very helpful. They are done through light meditation, and felt they were more effective. He talks about letting go of past emotions that are stuck inside the body. Some of the stuff energy might even be from relatives in your family line.

Powerful Tool
I was attracted to this title after reading "The Body Keeps the Score", curious about a real tool I can use to navigate healing. Physical healing of an ailment that I've been dealing with since I was 17. The use of color was what attracted me as color has always played a big role in my career and my life. I was not disappointed. I'm still learning and I'm still working on developing these skills, and I'm considering taking the class. The first work I did was releasing stuck emotions and replacing them and it was transformative. One example I woke up one morning very overwhelmed. I did the practice, and by the end of the day I realized I had one of the most productive days I've had in a long time. I felt the energy shift. This is one tool I'm going to continue to develop and I'm excited to read the next book.

Very interesting, intelligent and powerful approach to self healing
Firstly, I would like to address the people who have written harsh criticism of this book. I have read them all, and I mostly had to chuckle a bit because of the strongly biased responses and the resulting deep misunderstanding of the material. Someone with a staunch belief that we are just mechanisms that only a mechanic can fix will not understand this book, and it baffles me why they would get it in the first place. Perhaps just to write a negative review? Which is ironic. I am at a total loss to understand how sitting and meditating, breathing and visualizing yourself healing could be dangerous. There are other books that can help someone struggling to understand how science can be used to understand the energy in the body and spiritual connections, such as Dr. Sarno and Dr. Dispenza, to name a couple. The author here just jumps right in, which I liked as I do not need that introduction. She also very clearly says that this, in no way, is meant to replace your current medical treatment at the bottom of page XXVIII. Rather, it is meant to enhance your healing process. To say that the book is mirroring older books is also more of a positive than anything. I would not want to read a book like this that does not harmonize with older established techniques. To me, it makes it more valid. Now, on to the book. I like her approach a lot. It is unapologetic and just putting it out there. A "This worked for me and has for many others" approach. She is not trying to convince you but rather expose you quickly to what has changed her life. At no point did I get anything from this book but a sincere desire to help others. I really liked her integration of colors into the meditation process. I was already naturally doing that with other similar meditations, but she specifically addresses how and which colors to use, which is great. I also appreciated the way she helps you target areas of the body associated with various "stuck" emotions. Most of the book is a very comprehensive reference guide, relating symptoms to contributing factors and possible remedies. It is a unique approach that works very well with other approaches I am taking. Allopathic medicine can be amazing, and I am very thankful for modern science. However, at times, it may overreach and ask you to overlook terrifying side effects before you have addressed your emotional and physical health and wellbeing. Getting into the trenches and addressing your past experiences and pains and how they make up the person you are today is a journey that takes a warrior's approach. You are not treating the symptoms; you are addressing the cause. This book is a great start on that journey!

Definitely a Yes!
I am very happy to be writing a review of this wonderful book. I use this book in my work as a Reiki Master and Emotional Relief Counselor and I now have two copies. This is a great companion to "The Body is the Barometer of the Soul - So Be Your Own Doctor II" by Annette Noonth. I have been using the "Barometer of the Soul" for many years now and am happy, I now have another wonderful resource. "The Secret Language of Your Body" is as it states on the cover is "an Essential Guide to Health & Wellbeing" and contains some of the newer illness and dis-eases. It is a wonderful addition to any library. I also enjoy that there are different processes suggested to help relieve physical and emotional pain from the body. These process are easy to follow and can be used by anyone. Inna Segal has done a wonderful job of clearly laying out her information and I appreciate the care and compassion that comes through each chapter. The print is easy to read and Inna has included more than one explanation/example of each ailment/dis-ease which is an indicator of emotional distress. Eg" Panic Attack - suppressed fear, anger, sadness, or painful memories that suddenly surface, often connected to past traumas, especially those from childhood. Feeling weak, stressed, undermined. Feeing attacked, criticised, pushed. Internal weakness. Overtired. Constantly resisting and going against the grain. Belief that life is full of struggle and suffering. " I highly recommend this book to anyone interested in understanding the relationship between your emotions, your body and your physical state. This book can assist you in returning to your natural state of Wellbeing.

I 1st read this book i was an Anticipating the read , It received so much rave on another sight so i had to get it my 1st reaction as reading was ugh it’s boring but as i kept reading i realize my Enthusiasm Anticipation of the read was taking over me so i kept reading an boy i learned more then i needed i believe everyone should get this book you not only understand your body but others around you this book was made with thought love an research of the human body an mind an how they both work together this was a good read an not a sit down one time but like a recipe book you pick up each an every time you need it to figure how much to add an is this right this is good an powerful i’m a real person that learned something powerful about me
