Mic Mini Transmitter (Infinity Black), Ultralight, Detail-Rich Audio

I was genuinely impressed by the quality of the DJI Mic Mini. It feels very well made, has a clean, thoughtful design, and its tiny size makes it incredibly convenient to use. The noise canceling works great. Even with noise canceling turned off, the sound is much cleaner than recording with my phone's built-in microphone. When it's turned on, it does a great job of reducing background noise and makes the recording sound very clear. I bought only the transmitter (without the receiver). It connects well via Bluetooth to my computer and also to my iPhone. Just keep in mind that it doesn't work with the native iPhone Camera app. You can record audio with Voice Memos or similar apps, but if you want to record video, you'll need to use a third-party camera app (I use Blackmagic Camera). The compact charging dock is another feature I really like. It sits neatly on my desk next to my computer, keeps the microphone charged, and provides a convenient place to store it when I'm not using it. It's a small detail, but it makes everyday use much more enjoyable. Overall, I'm extremely happy with this product. It's compact, well designed, easy to use, and delivers excellent audio quality.

I bought the DJI Mic Mini for filming interviews and product demonstrations at conventions, where the background noise can be overwhelming. My camera’s built-in microphone tended to capture the entire room, making the person speaking sound distant. This little transmitter has made a noticeable difference by keeping voices much clearer and easier to understand. The biggest advantage is the size. It is incredibly lightweight, clips onto a shirt without pulling on the fabric, and is much less distracting on camera than larger wireless microphones. Pairing it with my DJI Mic Mini setup was straightforward, and I have not had to spend much time troubleshooting it before a shoot. I also like the Arctic White color because it blends in nicely with lighter clothing. Since the transmitter is so small, it is easy to forget that you are wearing it. The only minor downside is that something this tiny could be easy to misplace, so I make a point of returning it to its case immediately after filming. Overall, this has been a very useful addition to my video setup. For a budget microphone, this model is exactly what you need, and if I’m being honest, there’s very little about it that actually feels ‘budget-friendly”. It checks every box without bogging you down with unnecessary features or gimmicks. The audio quality is excellent keeping plosives to a minimum with the included filters, while the receiver gives you plenty of control to dial in the sound exactly how you want it. It’s essentially plug and play for mobile devices. Right out of the box it worked like a charm when plugged directly into my iPhone. Pair it with a nice gimbal and a decent lighting setup and you can get high-end, professional- grade quality for an absolute steal. Functionality-wise, everything just works the way you’d expect it to. The controls are intuitive, the connection is reliable, and there’s very little fiddling required to get everything up and running. Not to mention, the overall build quality is pretty great for the price. Everything is super lightweight, the magnets for mounting are incredibly strong, and the microphones themselves feel solid. None of that shaky plastic garbage. 10/10 product.

Excellent. I haven’t tried countless mics because this one does everything I need. Been using this for close to two months and nothing but satisfaction for me. Compatible for all my needs. Easy to use, pretty straight forward on any device — works excellent on my Mac and Windows computers, as well as my iPhone. I use this for Wispr AI dictation for projects like Claude and ChatGPT, Word documents, emails and taking notes. I’ve used it for recording my sales pitches to practice and hear what I sound like and sound quality is clear. Battery life is great too in my opinion. It is small which is nice for my use, but others may prefer something larger. Overall DJI products have always been dependable and high quality. This product is no different. If you want a mic that is going to accurately dictate what you are saying, stay securely clipped on to your shirt, easy to hold in front of you, then I’d highly recommend the DJI Mic Mini.
