This is why I have again purchased another pair of these to replace a duplicate pair I bought four years ago as recently lost one of the pads. On average I use these about ten hours a week and even the remaining pad I purchased four years ago show almost no signs of wear. This is surprising given they are mostly used on the most abrasive surfaces like pavements.These pads are only waterproof to a certain degree so you might get wet knees if using them for a long time on wet grass. One solution to this is to take out the padding (it is designed to come out) and place it in a freezer bag before putting it back. That way you still have the padding but without moisture getting through to your knees.The most positive aspects of these is they are comfortable, light weight, and flexible, which means they stay around the knee, unlike other brands which tend to move around , or change stance. They are so comfortable I sometimes forget to take them off at the end of a job.Both pads come with Velcro straps which are easy to work with even if you are wearing thick gloves.All in all, the best pads I have bought over the years ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Good for a year's use *by W***K on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 14 March 2021* These are my favourites for allotment work.
