Wii Remote - Black (Japanese Version)

I understand the item is from Japan, it gave us a slight problem syncing to our Wii at first. It is now fully charged with our rechargable battery pack and synced to the Wii. Online stated it was with motion system, though it does'nt state that on the bottom of the remote like the US version. Not a big deal though.

The Japanese model is slightly different in a few small aspects than the North American version. The paint job on the buttons is slightly higher quality, the sound quality coming out of the speaker is slightly higher, and the controls feel a slight bit tighter to me. Best of all it works with a North American model of the Wii system.

I got the remote on time, and it worked great... For a while. When I used it with my dancing game, a piece on the inside started to jingle around, and the sensor wouldn't pick up on my tv.

The other reviewer is absolutely correct. This is not a japanese market controller made by Nintendo. It is a cheap chinese knock off. It does not have motion plus and it does not work. It is outright fraud as the product sent does not match the one in the picture or in the description.

If you purchase this from "JK Games," be aware that this is NOT an official Nintendo OEM remote manufactured for the Japanese market. Instead, it is a cheap Chinese-made knockoff with no Japanese characters to be seen anywhere on the imitation Nintendo box. In addition, the box says it is "compatible with Wü" - yes, Wü with an umlaut. Enough said.
