People who give one stars because they had a bad delivery or things being too small doesn't tell you anything about the product and they shouldn't review the product. Yes the boots are tall and the laces go all the way up but I have no problem getting my foot in. I got these to replace the Columbia titaniums I bought back in 2003. I wore those boots for almost 20 years, not many people can say that. They're comfortable they're warm they're little heavier than my old boots but that's because they have more insulation. Even though the boots go up pretty high on your leg they feel like they're broken in already. When you pull up on the laces the laces stay where they are at, which is nice when you're trying to tighten them. They're nice and soft I don't feel like I can't bend my ankle. Very well made. Quality is top notch. I paid $283 for my last Columbia boots, so getting these for $120 is awesome. Not to mention how nice they look. One of the best things is they don't scuff easy they feel like I have two tanks on my feet. Columbia makes very good products it's one of the companies you can always depend on getting the best quality but not overly expensive. They do run small but if you get the right size you'll be extremely happy about the purchase. I live in Colorado so having a nice pair of snowshoes is a must. If you're on the fence about buying them just do it you might have to return it once to get a size that fits you perfect but it's worth it and you won't be disappointed.
