I bought this for an old film camera, a Nikon F3. It’s made of brass (not copper), although brass is actually copper alloyed with zinc. Smooth and shiny and well machined. Includes a little rubber O-ring which acts like a lock washer to prevent it from coming loose. This is a completely unnecessary item, just a little luxury for your picture taking finger that gives the camera a nice feel and adds a little accent of color. I’m sure it will tarnish in time. These come in red and black and silver and perhaps other colors that will inevitably rub off. Not sure if they’re all made of brass or perhaps some are made from aluminum, which can be anodized in bright colors, but would be less desirable from a materials standpoint. Since I knew it wasn’t made of copper I can’t be sure what the other colors are made from. The top is concave and comfortable for your index finger when depressing the shutter release. I nice, simple part.

富士x100viに取り付け質感共に申し分ないです。が、一年の間にこれで購入2回目。。 外れやすい訳ではないですが、どうしてもバックから出し入れしたりすると外れてしまう。 接着剤で付けようかとも思いましたが売却する時に困るし何とかならないものか 商品自体はとても良いです

It feels incredible, love the inwards shape. Has held its colour nicely over the last few months.

I absolutely loved this shutter button on my XT5, however it fell off not even a week later & I only took my camera out twice in that timeframe. Tighten it was much as I could, $20 wasted.
