Will this work for reading a newspaper in bed?

It would be too heavy and fold the page.. if you double up the pages, it may work. They have lights you can wear around your neck too- might better for newspaper reading. Good luck

What are the dimensions of the end with the led's as it does not look (from the pictures) to be the stated size of 3.94"x2.36"x1.77"?

The whole thing is about 13” long. The light part of it is about an 1” wide and 2” long.

Can you recharge the light in Europe with only an adapter? Or do you need a voltage converter?

My guess is that you would need a converter.
