Check the PUR spicket for leaking
PUR water dispenser leaked water from the spicket all over my fridge - this is my 3rd purchase of the same PUR water dispenser. They've functioned reasonably well about 3 years each. The spicket on the one I'm replacing just fell off.

Amazing quality.
This is my second time buying same product, first one my kid broke the dispenser by mistake so bought the exact one again and been using it for 2yrs now. Work very well for us and easy to use. Waterflow is great, if changed the filter right on time with the blinker light help water taste good. Easy to move, compact and worth buying.

Hot garbage - broke completely after 1 year
I used to have the competing Brita filter of the same style. That one had lasted me a few years before the button on the top for the filter replacement LED broke. That button was poorly designed and I also didn't love how the lid didn't seal the thing at all so carrying it from the sink to fridge was a tedious process and difficult to do without some water splashing out the sides. So after seeing this filter in a friend's fridge, I thought I'd get one to replace my Brita. I liked that it had the replacement reminder LED integrated on the spout handle and it had a larger capacity as well. That's where the good things I have to say end. The lid design is only marginally better than the Brita - carrying it was still a tedious task that always had some water spill out. The longer shape certainly makes this happen more easily b/c the water can shift so much. Fast forward exactly one year and the button started to malfunction: I thought the battery had died because it wouldn't light up. So I held the button down for several seconds—as the manual instructs—to reset the light (this also resets the filter tracking which I didn't like as a solution because now it would be off and basically useless for it's only job for this filter since the filter had a couple months of use already). The light worked for a bit and then stopped again. Same process, same result. Whatever I figured I'd just keep track manually with the stickers they give you. But then not more than a couple weeks later, THE WHOLE SPOUT HANDLE SNAPPED RIGHT OFF! Now the thing is completely useless. Looking at the pieces and how they were connected, I can see how poorly designed it is. Very small hard plastic connection, so of course it broke easily. I ended up going to Walmart and getting the competing ZEROWATER fridge filter this time and after just a few days, I can absolutely recommend it over the Brita and the Pür filters! It comes with a water particulate tester that actually tells you in real time how the filter is performing (at least on the particle metric). Tested my tap water (128PPM) and then tested the filtered water (0PPM). The tester plugs into the spout so it can test the water at any time when you dispense it. So you know for sure when it's time to replace when the PPM gets too high (apparently they recommended replacing at 6PPM). The ZEROWATER also quite a larger capacity despite being similar in size. And finally someone figured out how it design a chamber and lid that prevents the water from splashing out when you carry it!! 👏 I also am pleased to see the spout handle on the ZEROWATER utilizes a two-piece design that looks to me like it'll be more durable. Bottom line: the Pür filter kinda sucks and my unit was a completell lemon! I don't recommend it, but do recommend ZEROWATER over this thing for the reasons stated above. Advice from someone who's now tried all three big players in this product segment.

PUR PLUS 30 cup water dispenser
I'm impressed with this water filter dispenser. Easy to use, just follow the directions, especially about the filter presoak. The water, after filtered is amazing. We bought this mostly to filter out the chlorine because sometimes the chlorine odor is a little strong. The dispenser fits well in the fridge and has an indicator light that lets us know when to replace the filter. We use the filtered water to fill our dog's water bowls due to his sensitive stomach issues. He's happy and really enjoys his cold filtered water.

Must be cleaned every 2 days!
So...... I was initially pleased with my purchase as I was alarmed by my personal consumption of nano and microplastics due to only drinking bottled water. However, after using this for a couple months I have found it to be a royal PITA. Water can go bad in 2-3 days on the counter. I hike a lot and, now, prefer room temperature water. You'll get another day if you put it in your fridge. So, I have to wash it every 2 days! It filters good, the water tastes better and it doesn't smell like chlorine or some other chemical. I just don't like cleaning it every 2 days. The spigot is not easy to remove and it sounds like people don't know they need to replace the o-rings when it leaks. I had just replaced my kitchen faucet for one with a pull down sprayer or I would have gotten the faucet mounted model. They are a lot more efficient and don't require all of the cleaning and disassembly. I will change my faucet and get a faucet mounted one next time.

Worth The Wait
I have had this filter for about 2 months, and I couldnt be happier. My city doesn't have drinkable tap water, and being pregnant, it was important to have a good filtration system for myself. I did my research and found this one. I do not personally enjoy the taste of water, but I have noticed this water does have a clean, and palitable taste. It does take a while to filter, but it isnt as bad as people say. My husband and I worked out a schedule, that I fill the top portion in the morning and he fills it at night and we hardly run out of filtered water. I highly recommend this filter to everyone, and has noticed a huge difference in my drinking water.

Great Product
I've had these product for three years now and it is wonderful. I love that it's slim and yet holds so much water. It's easy to change the filters and each filter will last a long time for a household of two. The water tastes so much better and it's a great investment.

Broke after 2 months of use..
The water started leaking after 2 months of use. It was good while it lasted but I was hoping it would last longer than 2 months.

;) best filter
I had this brand filter in my other apartment but I movedcouldn’t installed directly from the tap in my other apartment, so I decided to buy that kind of filter, after reading some bad reviews I decided to buy another filter (popular) and I was disappointed, so I returned, so I got Pur and I am satisfied, it would take some time to filter but trust me, the water will taste good

Funcional
