Great cushion for rowing class!
I really like to use this gel seat cushion for my rowing class. I take a class 5x a week on a Concept 2 erg and it fits perfectly! The seat does not slide around due to the silicone grippers on the bottom. I've had it for nearly 6 months now, and it looks as good as the day I got it. Makes rowing comfortable, I don't slip and slide on the seat, so my form is better and I sit up straighter. Wish there was a way to spot clean it. I know I sweat quite a bit, so I may have to replace eventually.

SUPER Nice
Of course ordering an item sight unseen is a risk, but I took that for this seat. I was afraid it might be too thick, but it was perfect. SO well made! It precisely fits the rower seat & the bottom is truly non-slip. The foam cushion is dense for support yet responsive to conform to your body. I was delighted!

Amazing!
This thing worked amazing when rowing a marathon! I didn’t think about booty at all, just kept on rowing.

Highly recommend
So I order this because I have a personal challenge of rowing 1 million meters in 2026 on the Concept 2. I’m 6’2”. 245 lbs and averaging 6600 to 6800 meters per workout. I have to say it’s a game changer on the long rower session, it’s comfortable and stays in place on the seat no matter of your rowing pace or size. I highly recommend it if you’re gonna spend a lot of time on the rower

PITA Relief!! Stays secure
I purchased this several weeks ago and waited until I'd used it some before commenting. As background, I began rowing on a Concept2 in 1998 as cardiac rehab. In addition to other aerobic exercises I rowed at least 45 minutes (10K meters) 3 or 4 days a week for about 15 years. Time and gravity (as well as neck/shoulder surgery) has taken its toll and I now only row 30 minutes 2 days a week and Peleton 2 days. I found myself in need a new pair of padded rowing shorts and stubbornly refused to pay what I considered to be too high a shipping charge. While browsing for an alternative source I ran across these seat pads. I was skeptical of; the added height (2") which would likely change my stroke and be a pain in the back instead of a PITA; of the darn thing staying secure; and, whether it would be comfortable. Other reviews have commented negatively about its function and comfort on "long rows". It's likely those reviewers and I apply different definitions . I have found this seat to be very comfortable during my rows (as above) which, in my 7th decade, I define as long if perhaps not in time at least distance. I was pleasantly surprised that the seat stayed absolutely secure when in use even when I "schooched" around some as a test but comes right up if you want to remove it. I admit the added height was a bit "funny" at first but I was surprised how quickly I stopped noticing it. I did not experience a change of, or awkwardness in, my stroke even from the first use. Overall I am satisfied with this product. Unfortunately it seems I can say that less and less as time goes on. I would not hesitate to recommend this to any rower wanting/needing a cushion whether neophyte, ex-sculler or aerobic exerciser.

When I first added the Fitense Rowing Machine Seat Cushion to my Concept 2 Rower, I noticed a significant improvement in my rowing sessions. The memory foam padding provided a level of comfort that my previous setup simply lacked. Even after extended use, the cushion maintained its shape and support, making long workouts much more bearable. The added sports headband was a nice touch, keeping sweat out of my eyes during intense sessions. As someone who spends considerable time on a rowing machine, I can say this cushion has enhanced my overall experience. The design is simple, but effective, offering a stable and cushioned seating area that doesn’t shift around. The cushion fits perfectly on the Concept 2 Rower and can be easily attached or removed. The benefits of this cushion aren’t limited to just rowing; I’ve also used it on a recumbent stationary bike with similar positive results. The versatility of this product is a highlight, showing its value in various exercise settings. It's clear that the memory foam technology does more than just provide immediate comfort—it offers sustained support over time. Pros: Comfortable memory foam padding Fits well on Concept 2 Rower and other equipment Durable and maintains shape Cons: Slightly pricey Initial odor from the foam Overall, the Fitense Rowing Machine Seat Cushion has been a worthwhile addition to my workout gear. It has made my rowing sessions more comfortable and enjoyable, proving its value through consistent performance. While the initial cost may be a bit high, the comfort and durability it offers make it a smart investment for any rowing enthusiast.

Pros- - fits my Concept 2 Rower seat perfectly - silicone grippers hold the cushion purely by the weight of the rower and friction of silicon to plastic seat -no need for fussy straps -the cushion has tiny silicone dots to keep your butt from sliding about. The dots are small, well positioned and will not cause localized sweating. - cushion has extended my row (I measure by distance, not time) and increased comfort hugely - I was limited by the pain in my sit bones until now - now it will be muscle tiredness Cons- -this cushion has some weight to it, you may notice on rows > 5km - because of the padding, you will sit slightly higher and your rowing angle/leg angle may feel a bit odd initially Conclusion- - this seat cushion fits the Concept 2 plastic seat perfectly. It does not feel ungainly and looks like it belongs with the C-2. I would limit my rows to 5 km because my butt would be sore, but today's 5 km row felt so good I could easily do 2 km + over . I'm going to try the cushion on my open water sliding seat rowboat next spring and feel confident it will greatly increase my rowing distance. A great, well finished product. My workouts will massively improve because of the padding!

I use the Fitense Seat Cushion on my Water Rower and my stationary recumbent bike ergometer. It's been great with both. The contoured shape and the memory foam provide a good fit and comfort for me. I row and pedal for about an hour at a time. Without this seat cushion things start to get painful after about 30 minutes and I often need to take a bit of a break to let the tissues bounce back. With the cushion I can go for an hour without pressure or friction discomfort. During that time I don't need to reposition the cushion even though it's not strapped to the seat. The silicon non-slip on the bottom really does hold the cushion in place. Without straps it's really easy to switch from my bike to rower and back. I'll need to see how well the memory foam and cover materials hold, but even if they're not too durable, I will get another because now that I've tried one I won't go back to my brick hard original seats.

It is much more comfortable than the actual seat. I had a thinner seat “cushion” but that one hardly made a difference. This one is easy to use, no straps or attachments devices, does not slide or move, ergonomically fits my butt.
