This oil (combined with green lipped mussel extract and parsley), worked wonders on our two year old arthritic rescue dog many years ago, who went on to live a full, active and apparently pain free life well into his teens. No possibility of a placebo effect on a dog, so now I'm old and arthritic I'm going to give it a go. And why would someone give this product one star because it's 'disgusting'. It's cod liver oil - what do you expect (although I don't mind it at all)?

Bought for my dad who's 96, it was a good price and he was pleased with it.

My father gave is all this as children. We didn't like it much at the time and thought he was being mean. He was not. Today I am so thankful he gave us this stuff. I reckon it's part why I and my 2 bothers and sisters are still good today 40 years later. Do not hate on your father for doing something we don't like at the time when the later results is a good thing. Must say though, this Cod Liver is getting ridiculously more expensive. We were poor when our father gave us this, yet could afford it, but today, when we're all generally richer this seems ever more expensive for less in general. What's going on?
