I looked at a lot of different cams before deciding to purchase this one. Was hoping for a clear video and it certainly is. I was totally shocked at how clear the video is even in low light conditions. In the dark I can switch it to infrared and although not as clear as the reg. camera it works well. Overall, I am impressed and VERY pleased I bought this one. Set up took literally 2 minutes and was super simple. Add the SD card, charge, turn on, download app and turn on. Simple and fast. Set it, turned it on and left town for about 2 weeks and no problems with the battery lasting. Inexpensive, easy set up and works great. ***** 5 Stars from me!!!

This is a great little camera. The battery life is amazing on it, I don't know why other electronics can't retain the same battery charge as this device can. The picture quality is as good as to be expected using day or night vision. I got this to put at the front door to catch any porch pirates. I like that it is small and you can turn off the light on it so it doesn't draw attention. You can use a tf card or cloud recording, works with wifi and bluetooth. I think this is worth the price.

The camera is okay as we foster kittens and a quick look to see how things are going; however, here are my complaints why I will not purchase again: 1. The night vision is NOT night vision. I cannot even see anything at night and have to keep the light on in the room just to view what is going on. 2. The speaker/mic never works (I have two, and neither works) 3. BEWARE!! The cost of a subscription for cloud storage is PER CAMERA and not per account. I have another camera service, Vision Well (costs the same for equipment and is a nicer product), for outside security, and we pay per account for 4 cameras, which allows unlimited devices. UBOX charges about $40 a camera per year. :/ So, for three cameras, it's around $120; that is outrageous. However, it does have the options for SD, but it's a pain. I bought these due to the size being more convenient for a cat catio, but I will be putting my money back into Vision Well, and work with the size.

Easy to use. Sound quality that was picked up wasn’t great though, it just sounded muffled - couldn’t understand what was said. The video captures good enough though.

I needed something simple. I needed to be able to see what our puppy does during the day. I am not a techie, but was able to set it up easily. I like that there isn’t a monthly fee, but you can opt to have it should you choose to save on their cloud. You can also save on SD. The only thing I wish was better is the battery life. It might last 3 days on a full charge if it detects lots of movements. If not a lot of movements detections, it could last a couple of weeks. I bought 4 and may get a couple more. Overall, I love it! Update review one year later. The cameras are still working great! The simple set up, inexpensive cost, and reliability are the reasons why I would recommend it. I especially like the no monthly fee option. It gives me piece of mind to be able to see my dogs at home when I am awa.

I use this camera primarily as an in-store security device for my jewelry business. Setup takes no more than five minutes. The pictures and video definition are superb. If you should be looking for a great camera to monitor activity in your home, this is an excellent option. It easily links with your WiFi system, runs from internal battery that lasts two weeks or so on a single charge and saves recorded videos to an SD card (you supply). Being so small and cordless, it can be installed just about anywhere. Give it a try, you’re sure to be pleased.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Customer service is a joke. There is none. The camera is ok. I use it in my terrariums to enjoy watching my leopard gecko while I'm working. It lags. And it's not my internet. Video is only 5 to 30 seconds recorded. You gotta pay for saving data or you can use an SD card. The night vision is nice.

This Review is for the spy cam. This cam is much more than I expected, especially for the crazy low price. Set up was extremely easy and took less than one minute after downloading app. I set it up, using the included stand in my kitchen (a little wobbly, but easily secured with clear stationary tape) to monitor my dogs while i'm away. The picture was extremely clear, both day and night images. The camera has a nice wide angel view, with very clear picture. It has live view and recording capability. You can also zoom in to see a larger image. The battery life is great. I used it for 4 days while I was gone and still had approximately 50% battery life remaining. (The camera was on 24 hrs a day and my dogs were constantly going in my kitchen and activating the record function and notifying me). I received alerts through the app every time my dog's entered the kitchen, So I was able to monitor their behavior, and ensure my dog sitter did her job. It is small, but provides great coverage. My camera was on a counter in plain view, but it is very small and could be easily hidden. If I wasn't near my phone when an alert went off, I could watch a short 5 second recording, which can be adjusted in app, recorded video storage will depend on the size of the micro SD card used . Overall I am very happy with the spy cam. I would recommend this to anyone. One thing that might be a small issue for some, the camera only connects to a 2.4g wifi and not a 5g wifi connection, but most wifi routers today can do both. I use an Amazon eeos wifi router and it does both 2.4g and 5g. When connecting the camera through the app a message popped up saying "it looks like you are using a 5g wifi, please confirm you are using 2.4g wifi." I just hit the confirm button and the camera connected without issue.
