Exactly what I wanted, perfect size, really compact, collecting CDs again wanted something utilitarian, got an alarm will wake up to your cd or radio, you can toggle the screen off when you go to bed, sound is really decent! Would have been mortified if it was tinny and reviews helped persuade, was either this or a more expensive Panasonic and I'm fairly certain it's the same tech. Bluetooth is a great feature if you've got podcasts or audiobook on your phone/tablet, could even connect an old iPod using audio cables provided Plenty of programmes you can save your favourite stations too. Remote buttons are tiny, if you've got sausage fingers it'll require a bit of precision. Setting up might be a tad difficult for non-techy people but instructions were good, set the time to automatic but was a minute off so I just set it manually. Flicking between stations takes a sec, not super responsive so as long as you're not in a rush to get Nick Ferrari out of your ears and get back to some Classical FM to calm down with, worth taking 30mins to sit and programme in your fav stations to save you slowly flicking through everything. Looks good sat on me IKEA malm, wanted something to sit out the way in the corner, feels really, light and plasticy mind, not sure how reliable it will to the test of time but I'm super happy with it.

This is a great looking HiFi System CD Player and Radio. Speakers are really powerful and have great sound quality and far better than expected. Controls are all straight forward and instructions are easy to follow and this HiFi is really easy to use. Build quality is excellent and far better than you would expect for the price paid. Overall great piece if kit at a great price and would highly recommend it.

Great for what I need in the kitchen, its fixed to the wall , tuning isn't easy.

Compact unit with all the options for input source. Good sound and easy to operate via the remote control. Was concerned about losing the pre-set stations when power was disconnected, but they remain set when power is reconnected.

Great looking, good sound and space saving. But a few drawbacks: Listed as - Wall Mounting Kit included, but you don't get one as two screws will do it! Aerial too short - reception improved with longer one rescued for old radio! Volume steps too great. It cannot remember/display time unless the power is connected all the time. Choosing how and setting time each time is a pain in the neck. Time not displayed accurately (changes on the half-minute) Select time on remote and it displays time in Hrs, Mins & Secs but seconds permanently on '30'. Remote too small for so many buttons. Setting pre-sets a pain if you have not studied instructions and leant them properly. Another reviewer says you need a degree!

I bought this to replace a mini hi-fi system that had stopped working . I bought this particular one as it had the USB port which I used on my previous player to plug my old mp3 into . This port could not be used for this while the stand was attached only when it was fixed to the wall due to lack of clearance .Having said that for the price it hasn’t disappointed on sound quality for my general daily use .
