Gorgeous yarn 🧶
Fabulous yarn, fine but strong, crocheting a long duster style cardigan. I have used this yarn many times. Crochets up lovely, washes great. No splitting when crocheting, glides nicely over my hook. Nice colour range too

It feels nice and is fairly strong
I bought this for the mother in law, as she makes twiddle muffs for the local hospital trust and she had run out of what she has been using for the past two years. I had to buy this without really knowing what she needed, but it apparently will go through beads and does up in a knot quite nicely, so I think I scored a win and will probably be needing to buy this again. Thankyou.

Buen brillo y bonito color. Hilo de 1mm aprox., fuerte y de calidad. 100gr y 400m. Un poco caro.

Excellent cotton for knit and crochet
I love this cotton for knit and crochet, and I highly recommend it DMC has a long reputation for producing fine threads in glorious colors. Petra is an excellent mid-weight cotton thread for making lacy summer shawls and cardigans that drape nicely. It's smooth and strong, doesn't kink or pill or shed. I've used it in two colors, and I've just put more in my cart. I can't comment on colorfastness or shrinkage because I haven't yet washed it, but I hand-wash and air-dry all my hand-made knit and crochet items, which minimizes shrinking, color fading, and ravage by lace-eating machinery.
