Very thin, small and elegant Review: Small is beautiful - The brilliant thing about this pencil is how small and well engineered it is. You can slip it into the coils of a spiral notebook or into a tiny bit of spare space in an EDC pouch. Or you can use the supplied plastic card to store it amongst the pages of a notebook or diary. It's perfectly functional, although its slimness means that you would only want to use it for occasional brief notes. And that's fine because the slimness is why you bought it. I've knocked off a star because the supplied leads are about 4H which makes the writing too faint for my liking. Also the Minimo is very finicky about what leads it will accept. First of all it's important to know that "0.5mm" leads are actually 0.6mm thick - no, I don't understand it either. I tried some "0.5mm" Ryman HB leads which measure 0.64mm on my Vernier caliper and they are too thick to go in the Minimo.
