The 8-electrode technology is used on the back side of the test strips for auto-coding and secondary calibration. Write the discard date ( 6 months after opening the vial) on the vial label when you open it for the first time. Good quality test strips and needles. I always use this brand as I have a Sinocare machine. Easy to enter in to the entry gap. Every now and then you will get a test strip that errors but again I am not sure if this is the machine or the strips but seems to work if I just try another.
