DMC 1764-10/12 Beading Hand Needles, 6-Pack, Size 10/12

The first time I used one of these needles, I was in a class being taught by a master beader how to make a beaded Christmas ornament. I was so impressed with them I bought my own set. I recently made an intricate necklace with small seed beads, and I needed a very thin needed in order to get my beading thread through the beads. Not only are these needles strong, they also have a bit of a bend to them, which I appreciate when I am threading through multiple beads at the same time. Not once have the DMC brand of needle broken on me! I love this brand, I use the DMC floss exclusively as well. Not much more to say. They are very sharp, so be careful of that when using them. But they are the perfect size and length and they hold up well and at the same time are flexible. Next time I will buy them from Michael's or JoAnn's when I can use a 40% or 50% off coupon.

Hands down my favorite needle to use for bead embroidery. I wish we could buy them in bulk!!

I like the product will work well.. the only reason I gave a 4 star was because my product was open, if an elderly person got thos with poor eye sight they could have gotten hurt. And thats the only reason 😊

These beading needles are very fine. I have not found a bead in my collection that I can’t fit these through. They thread much easier than I expected. Because they are so tiny the do tend to bend easily.

If you are wondering what kind of needles to use if you are a beginning beader, these are it! The size 12 fits easily through a size 11 bead. I have never used size 15 beads, my eyes aren't that good! (until I get new glasses!) But I'm pretty sure that the size 12 needle with work for 15 beads also. You should have several sizes available for different size beads and projects. If you are using size 10 beads you can move to a larger needle (smaller size needle = larger sized threading hole!). Keep in mind the size of thread you are using also because you need to be able to pass a double length of thread through the bead, along with the thin needle! I think it's apparent I love these needles. I do prefer the stiff needles as opposed to the flexible ones. I've used several different types and found this is a better fit for me and my beading needs. In addition, you just cannot go wrong with the brand DMC! They also make the very best thread for crocheting and beading, in my opinion. Great needles!

very difficult to thread these needles. Despite the fact I purchased various aids AND am an excellent seamstress. I REALLY would love to add the tiny white seed pearls to the BEAUTIFUL white comforter I purchased from Amazon. SO--I am purchasing MORE sewing aids to try and complete this project. Wish me luck peoples!

Vaya diferencia! Anteriormente compré un juego de agujas 8 gujas para abalorios, como ya no están disponibles, encontré estas y se nota muchísima diferencia, se trabaja mejor, son más finas que las anteriores pero más resistentes y de mejor material.

Les aiguilles longues et fines ne sont pas faciles à trouver, surtout avec un chas assez confortable sans être trop large. J'avais ce genre d'aiguille par ma mère il y a 20-30 ans. En comparant à la dernière qui me restait, je constate que la qualité est restée la même ( DMC a été repris par un groupe anglais cf. Wikipedia) ainsi que la forme générale.

Great needles, very smooth, fine and strong, but be warned that the eyes are very small and difficult to thread wildfire and other similar threads, I found squashing the end of the thread helped.
