SABRE Car Parking Assist Sensor detects distance between Car and Wall at 1, 2, or 3 Feet

I purchased a Sabre Car Parking Sensor on clearance from a local retailer. It worked so good that I now have purchased another sensor on Amazon. I had tried several methods for positioning my vehicles in my garage and to date this is the best method I have found. I hung the sensor at bumper height and the lights will change from green to yellow to red to signal when you should stop the vehicle There are 3 different settings that allow you to stop 1ft, 2 ft or 3 ft from a wall. The visible light indicator can be mounted at the correct view height for your vehicle height.

I have been searching for some guide to let me know exactly how far i am driving into the garage. The laser one seems too much for me to install especially since there isn't a conveniently located power outlet. The drive over speed bump could have worked but i didn't like the idea of cleaning it in the winter time (and I'm not sure if it would stay stuck to my muddy garage floor). I also don't like the hanging tennis ball setup. I'm not sure how accurate the guides are to the stated 1/2/3 feet but it looks like the machine is consistent. I set mine to 2 ft and stop when the light turns yellow. If i know I'm going to need something from the trunk, i will drive up until it turns red. All in all, would recommend to anyone looking for some garage parking assistance. Not sure about battery life yet.

Update: The parking assist has stopped working. I have changed the batteries numerous times and now it will not light up. It's going in the trash. I purchased two of these. I purchased a new larger car and could not judge the distance. I would pull in and get out to make sure the car was far enough inside the garage. The sensor was super easy to install and works exactly as expected.

This product worked well for about 18 months but then all of a sudden stopped...I think it may have been bumped...but while it worked, it did exactly what it should have

Works exactly as offered. Very easy to install. Definitely would recommend this product to anyone looking for an easy and very helpful device to assist you at parking.

Did not get much service out of product. Within a couple weeks it was not functioning properly in fact it never did actually function as advertised. My husband changed the batteries after it stopped working thinking it stopped because the red light continuously burned after about a week. We were very disappointed in the product and did not keep the box since we were so confident in Amazon product. Now we still need a parking sensor. A mistake we wont make again!

I have purchased three Sabre parking assists so, obviously, I am a very satisfied customer. My first one only lasted a little over two years; however, I liked it so much that I purchased another one for my home and a second one for a vacation condo. At home I set the distance for 3 feet from the back wall of my garage but, because the condo garage is smaller, I use the 2 foot setting. Thanks to the green, yellow and red light sequence I park perfectly every time. Easy to install, too.
