I’ve been using the eufy Security Smart Lock C30 for a while now and it’s been a really solid upgrade from my regular deadbolt. One thing I really appreciate is that it hasn’t dropped the WiFi signal or lost connection since I installed it. It stays reliably connected, which is really important for a smart lock. The app is also very well built and easy to use. Everything is laid out clearly, so it’s simple to manage settings and check access. I like that it works with Alexa too, which makes it convenient to integrate with the rest of my smart home setup. Another feature I really like is being able to add multiple users and customize their access. You can give different people their own codes, which is great for family members or guests, and it’s easy to manage through the app. Installation was pretty straightforward as well. As long as you follow the instructions step by step, it’s not difficult to set up. Overall, it’s a reliable smart lock with good connectivity, a solid app, and useful access controls.

Great budget lock! We have had a touchpad Quikset deadbolt for many years that finally gave out. I think 10+ years of my boys yanking on it was finally enough. It thought it was locked when it was unlocked and vice versa. It had a good run. Thank you for your service. I shopped around a bit and wanted something secure but simple, high tech but affordable...and this Eufy seemed to fit the bill. We used to have an automatic vacuum from Eufy and it worked like a champ. So I had some brand familiarity and comfort with Eufy. This was a super easy install. It doesn't come with a full instruction manual so you have to scan a QR code to get to it. No biggy. It was all super intuitive and everything worked as stated. I did have to chisel out the recess where the deadbolt itself sits in the side of the door. But that was no biggy. Five minutes with a hammer and chisel after making a new outline with a pencil. Wifi integration was a snap through the app and so far everything is great. I've got it integrated with my google home and it seems to be running perfectly. Thanks Eufy for another great product!

If you are tired of your adhd husband leaving the front door unlocked when he leaves for work before the sun comes up, this will solve all your problems. I no longer wake up angry and ready to start an argument about him inviting robbers in the house while I sleep. I was able to set up auto lock for the hours I know that he would be leaving and arriving home. Features I love are that you can unlock it remotely from anywhere (great for letting house sitters in and out), you can set up codes for all members of the family so you know who unlocked the door and at what time, you can set up notifications for when it was unlocked (perfect for toddlers that want to run for the horizon as soon as you close the bathroom door). The only complaint I have is that the battery life is lacking. In 4 months we have had to change the batteries twice already and this thing takes a lot of batteries!

Updating to 4 stars since the battery life issue was resolved. The lock now performs well with little battery drain. Eufy customer support was also excellent! Original review: The lock was easy to install and good quality, but the battery drain is horrible. I get less than 3 weeks for each new set of alkaline batteries on a door that's used 3 times per week. That's aweful. The door is less than 6 feet from a router. I suspect the wifi chip isn't sleeping and killing the batteries. I've contacted Eufy/Anker to see about an RMA and will update if the replacement lock fixes this issue.

We’ve purchased two of these and are quite happy. The only struggles installing were due to the age of our home - the bolt is larger than our old locks and requires some additional wood to be chiseled out of the door jamb to allow proper function. Not the locks fault and makes me feel like it is a better quality lock, just wanted to call that out. Integrated seamlessly with the eufy home app. We love being able to unlock the door from the car when we’ll have groceries or something, or when it is raining so you don’t have to stand outside any longer than needed. Also allows remote unlocking - a family member stopped by the house when we were at work and we could simply lock and unlock for them from another city. Comes with physical keys as well so you have a backup. For the door that gets the most use, the batteries last a few months and you have tons of notice when it is time to replace them. Have never had an issue where we were locked out because the battery died, and even if you did you still have the physical keys. You can set up to 8 digits for the code, which I like. The buttons have held up well and the locks still look good a year later after install.

Good value, you have to download the app to get the installation instructions. Don’t know if they tell you that but installation is easy. In the app you add a new device connect to your WiFi, then create your passcode. Works great I have two so far.

I bought the eufy Security Smart Lock C30 (Built-in Wi-Fi, Keypad) and it worked at first, but after about six months it started having serious issues: Unstable connection: The app frequently shows the lock as offline, so remote control is basically unusable. Other devices on the same Wi-Fi are fine. Keypad problems: The keypad often won’t let me enter my PIN or doesn’t respond at all, which makes the lock impossible to rely on. A smart lock needs to be dependable, and this one isn’t. Given the “reliable power” and “easy installation” claims, the real-world experience has been very disappointing. Not recommended.

Great product. Makes entry and exit +locking) quick and painless. Love being able to unlock with a code vs. key, and being able to lock the door with a single keypress. The internet connectivity is great for checking whether the door is locked or unlocking for a guest/etc. I'm giving 4 stars only because of poor battery life. I've used lithium batteries in it and still only get a few months before I have to change the batteries again. The batteries can die quickly, so if you use this on a property you don't use daily (ex. Vacation or second property), the batteries can die and lock you out of you don't always carry a physical key.

Was easy to install with Phillips screwdriver. Had minor issue removing the old standard lock due to needing very small hex key. Locks and unlocks easily. App was fairly easy to setup. Working well with key, keypad and app and I like the auto lock feature. Can't comment on battery life yet. Will see how it goes. Haven't tested integration with Google home yet. Will update when I get around to it.

Easy to install and so far it's going great. Easy to add the Alexa skill.
