Not Like The OLD Timberlands you remember
Having worn Timberland boots for 20+ years , they are not built to the same standard any more. Timberland boots used to have thick leather and solid soles that would last a long time. These boots nowadays are very light, thin on materials and generally just don't feel as well made or durable as they have been in the past. They feel like a mid range boot nowadays and paying the the premium for something that does not feel premium any more is a bit cheeky. The only thing they have kept from the older generation of boots is half sizes. Also find these are a bit narrower in the foot than they used to be.
