I have tried probably 4 different brands of hair powder. My hair is fine so it takes a very strong product to hold my hair in place. Top 1-1.5 inches long but very fine and limp. Haven't tried slick gorilla but have tried Level 3, Nishman, Osis and one more but OSIS will hold all day long and styles. There is an art to applying hair powder and I have tried it out on my own hair. Sprinkle the top of your hair with hair powder and rub it in....FORGET IT! It's NOT going to work right. Get the powder first on your scalp and rub it in at the roots your good. And OSIS is the best I have tried so far...sure it is six times at expensive as Level 3. But so far it's been the only one that has a strong ENOUGH hold to keep my hair as I like it.

Good product but too expensive. I bought it on Prime day and much better price. It should always be that price.

Wow! This stuff is amazing! Volume, hold, everything! Just a couple of shakes at the roots and my short pixie/bob is transformed! My favorite hair product so far (and I’ve tried dozens).

I have very fine, stick-straight limp hair (which is cut quite short at the moment), and have always hated hair-washing days because my hair ends up flat and lifeless within an hour of "doing" it. Second-day hair is far more cooperative, and depending on the haircut I have sometimes 3rd-day hair is the best. I have tried all kinds of hair products, and none of them have succeeded in giving me the control and body that I get with 2-or-3-day-old hair. The products either weigh my hair down making it even more flat, or they just get absorbed into my hair and no longer have any effect. This dust stuff is like magic! It makes my hair feel great and dirty right away, and it doesn't seem to wear off... in fact the more I play with my hair the better it seems to get. I get great lift at the roots, and my hair is not weighed down at all. I have only had it a short time, so I have not gotten to try it with different hairstyle looks, or with curling (I curl with my flat-iron), but so far I just love it. I tried sprinkling in my hands and then applying, but I did not find this to work very well. Sprinkling directly (and carefully!... a little goes a long way!) onto my hair in a few locations and then smushing around and working it through worked great. You should note that it does not leave your hair soft and silky... it feels a little rough to the touch, but it's that roughness that keeps the hairs from falling down flat. Also, since my hair is short right now, I can't say what it would be like on long hair (though I think if you just keep it to the roots it might be great). I will definitely be getting more of this. I might even have to stock-pile some in case they stop making it for some reason (the universe has a tendency to make the things I love obsolete).

PLEASE read this review. I really hope it saves people the trouble and not to make the same mistake I did by purchasing it because it is nonrefundable, FYI. This stuff is terrifying because it DOES NOT COME OUT OF YOUR SCALP. I did a test run of this yesterday by doing two little sections of my hair. I not only hated the way it felt on my scalp, but I also noticed how “embedded” it was in there and that’s when I really started to question it. Washed my hair, focusing on those same 2 spots on my scalp and did a triple wash/scrubbed in those areas, and just finished blow drying my hair and the product is STILL THERE. It feels disgusting, like this weird sticky, gummy texture, and there is absolutely no way this is safe for the scalp?! I had no idea it was nonrefundable so now I’m just absolutely furious and stuck with a $20 hazard in a bottle.

I’ve noticed that it can leave a residue if not thoroughly cleaned. • Price: For the amount you get, the price seems a bit high, especially considering the small container size. I expected it to last longer. Conclusion: The OSiS+ Dust It Volume Powder is decent if you need a quick volume boost with a matte finish. However, the gritty texture and difficulty in washing it out may be a dealbreaker for some. It’s a good product, but not without its flaws.

I paid 7.5 euros instead of the current shocking price of 12 euros (!) and I feel cheated. It's so small it looks like a sample size that would cost 1 euro, certainly not buying again.

It does a good job making that *dust* effect on your hair that keeps it solid and a good texture.

Ho regalato questa polverina Osis+ al mio fidanzato, che ha tantissimi capelli ma molto sottili. Di solito porta un taglio sfumato con un ciuffo lungo che era praticamente ingestibile, ma con questo prodotto abbiamo finalmente risolto. Il vantaggio principale è che ne basta una quantità minuscola applicata nei punti giusti per dare una tenuta incredibile, come una cera, ma con il pregio di non sporcare assolutamente i capelli. La durata è pazzesca: tiene per giorni e a volte resiste persino dopo uno shampoo leggero! È la soluzione ideale per quando lui va di fretta la mattina per andare al lavoro. Unico avviso importante: i capelli diventano molto ruvidi al tatto, che è poi il segreto della tenuta di queste polveri. Un prodotto professionale che fa esattamente quello che promette.

Fabulous product. I buy it whenever it goes on sale. Works great at adding volume to hair roots and does not “show” after you apply it. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to add volume to thin or fine hair.
