It works.! Great for heartburn. The price and quantity is of great value. It works just as good as the name brand ones and cheaper. I was prescribed these in a higher dose by my doctor but ran out. So I purchased these to take for the time being.

I used to buy Prilosec but being on a budget I decided to try these. They are just as good and cheaper!

Have you used this Amazon basic care product for several years now, it's perfect. Does the job.

Update: Opening the bubble packs. On the back of the bubble pack are instructions for opening. These are a little ambiguous. I ignored the suggestion to "bend" and this is what I did instead: 1. Tear off ONE of the corner bubbles. Peel off ALL the backing paper from that corner bubble. With the backing paper removed, you should be able to push the tablet through the foil. 2. Look at the rest of the package. You will now have a sharp corner to start to peel, rather than a rounded corner. Carefully peel the backing paper off as much of the entire package as you can. You will then have just the foil to puncture as needed, instead of trying to push the tablet through both foil and backing paper. 3. I puncture all the bubbles and put all 14 tablets in an old container. 4. ALTERNATIVE method: Use a small pair of scissors like nail scissors. Tear off a bubble. Cut the bubble in a straight line in such a way that your cut runs right next to the long side of the bubble. You should now be able to remove the tablet by pulling apart the layers of the package. Hope these are useful .... Original review: This is a standard OTC generic at an excellent price. However, it's unlikely I'll buy it again because the bubble packaging is very difficult to open.

This is a miracle drug! It works and extremely well! I have had truly horrible heartburn lately and I was getting dependent on chewable antacid tablets. I figured, why take multiple a day, carry them everywhere, remember to buy more, when I can take one Omepazole a day and be done with it? I had little faith in these though. Well, I was totally wrong! I took one and I immediately had no heartburn and none since! I’ve had food that I know are heartburn triggers for me and I have not had one trace of discomfort! Amazing! You must buy these, you will not be sorry! I’ve been set free from the painful, annoying, 24/7 burning in my throat and chest, whhooo hoo! Like everyone else mentioned, the packaging is an issue. The pills are very hard to get out of the wrapper, but I’ll deal with it to get such great relief!

seems to do the trick been usnig it for a while. Only thing is just like all gastric/acid reflux meds, this is not an instant cure. can take a few days, weeks months. thats how all generic and brand versions work.
