Rit Powder White Wash 1 7/8 Ounces

Works as promised: no extra "bleach" smell, doesn't burn clothes like bleach, bright-white. Cost effective!

The stuff is magic! My child accidentally put something red in with her whites and everything was pink. After using this, everything was back to being white.

Great product! I had some red dye transfer onto some white clothes. I tried everything. Oxyclean, vinegar. If it was on the Internet I tried it. This product was the only thing that worked. The directions are not in the box I had to look it up on the Internet but I would buy it again if I needed to

I had a very good pair of white capris that got transfer stains from a blouse. I was very unhappy. I thought I’d give this a try. It totally took out the colors. So I have my pants back. It smells terrible though. Price to pay, I guess.

This product is hard to find, thank you Amazon. It does not remove stains, however it does brighten your dull whites. I like using it on socks, towels, t-shirts, and I have used it on pillows (need 2). I do it in my washer for large items.

I really didn’t like this stuff. I had some old washcloths that were looking a little yellow and dingy so I decided to try using a package of this powder. I followed the directions exactly as the packaging says and not only did it not work, it made a few stains appear much more pronounced. I had to rewash everything in just plain bleach to get them white again. To top it off, the smell is unbelievably strong of fart/rotten eggs. I had to open all the windows when I dissolved it in hot water otherwise I would have gassed myself!

there is almost nothing that will take Georgia Red Clay out of white clothes, towels, etc. I use one box of Rit in my washing machine , as directed. My whites are White

I was thoroughly distraught when I realized I had washed my NICE white shirts (appx $150-$200 total) shirts with a lime green Post-It note somehow. Needless to say, the ink ran into my white shirts leaving noticeable lime spots all over my shirts. Worse yet, I didn't notice the spots until after I had dried them. I really REALLY didn't want to contribute to any new rags, so I decided to put the money out for this little 1 oz. miracle worker. And, I would have to say, it went above and beyond my expectations. Even after rewashing my shirts and boiling them in hot water, the stains never ceased until I performed the stove-top method with the Rit White Wash. 15 minutes on the stove, then back to the washer to wash out the Rit. I'm pretty sure the whites are brighter than when I bought them... Beware, they will completely remove any color from dyed fabric, as I lost a bit of color in one shirt. But the loss was well offset by the positive. Highly recommended!!!

Tres mitige, le produit sent tres mauvais. Il est toxique. Faites tres attention avec les instructions qui ne sont pas logiques: le produit est cense fonctionner sur laine et coton et dans les instructions on vous dit de mettre le programme "plus haute temperature" ce qui va endommager les linges. Pas tres efficace.

HAD TO PUT CLOTHES THROUGH A SECOND TIME TO GET A NEAR ENOUGTH RESULT
