When will i receive my refund?** A: Hi mine got damaged in transit also but I got new 1 few days later,if you don't want new 1 again, just go threw customers service they will sort your problem, hope this helps **Q: Do you need to cut this blind?** A: Yes the blind measured exactly the size that it said it would be but our window was just a little smaller. It was very easy to cut, I just used a pair of scissors to cut the material and a hacksaw to cut the metal pole at the top. **Q: How far does the blind stick out from where it is attached ?** A: About an inch, if it is attached to the ceiling it won't stick out but you will have an inch either side so it doesn't completely shut out light. **Q: Where can I replacement brackets?, one is broken** A: Amazon at a guess ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Nice blind but make sure you have your own screws. *by K***E on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 18 August 2019* I bought it for my studio so I decided to go for a used one sold via Amazon. I paint and draw with charcoal and knew I'd get it dirty in no time so I thought why waste money (I do not care if it's not perfect). I actually got a very nice clean blind, the only thing was the packaging was slightly broken.Unfortunately, despite my previous inquiry with Amazon, the warehouse team did NOT check if all the parts were in it. See these blinds require this one small "guber" thingy, a part that at the very end secures the mechanism from falling out. Tiny piece, but rather important, and my package didn't have it... ups!. I didn't want to go through the fuss of returning the item so I first went looking for a replacement kit and here's another important thing to know. The pole is constructed in a way that in cross section it's not round (it has an extra indent) and that makes it impossible to use any other mechanism than Debel's. In the end I figured out I could use a white cable tie to secure the pole. You can't see it but it prevents the pole from falling out after you've secured it.Also we had to use different screws. Whoever designed the plastic parts that hold the blind was smart. They designed it so that you can put the screws in (leaving the plastic part out), then slide the plastic part over the screws' heads sideways and then tighten the screws. Sadly whoever put the screws in the kit wasn't so smart and provided screws with huge heads that make the very smart design useless unless you get your own screws. This is probably why so many people have complained of how easy it is to break the plastic part. I can imagine it would be if you put the screws in while holding the plastic part at the same time - one slip of a hand and that's it.The mechanism that rolls and unrolls the blind is also a bit stiff so you have to be very careful (mainly when pulling the blind up, going down it seems easier). ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars It's a white blind - how wrong could it be? *by M***7 on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 20 December 2019* ^^^That wasn't meant to be a challenge but they rose to it.The chain only comes half way down the blind so I can't reach it to open or close the blind without a step. (the bottom of the chain is 7ft6 above the ground which is challenging for anyone under 6'6)It comes with torx!?! screws and wall plugs - what's wrong with cross heads? (I used my own as I was screwing into wood)The supplied screw heads are to big for the brackets supplied - the brackets are cleverly designed so if you loosen the screws you can slide the brackets off... if the screw heads were not too big.The cut side has started fraying after a week of use - I may have to prune the whiskers and seal the cut edge with superglue... or something?Aside from that, it's perfect, it nicely covers our 215*60 cm hall window and make the place feel warmer and more private. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Nightmare to put up tbh 😔 *by A***Y on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 14 March 2020* This is a nightmare to put up! The screws need a weird star shaped screwdriver to tighten. I didn't have one, and it didn't come with one. Luckily I had a couple of screws that kind of fit, so it's at least up!I was going to buy this blind when I first moved into this house, but chose a different one and I'm glad I did as putting this up had my blood pressure through the roof, so I wouldn't like to add a house move on top of that stress tbh.Once it's up, it's perfect though!
