Is it normal for the unit to blow out all that hot air?

Yes, that's the whole idea behind dehumidifiers. They cool incoming air to condensation point, and then use it to cool the hot coil of the refrigerator unit. All the 300 Watt of it's power dissipates inside. Air conditioners have that hot coil outside and that transfers heat and consumed power to the outside.

How do I set it to turn off and turn on when I want It? Do I have to set desired humidity level and it will turn off automatically or something else?

I ran into this problem too. The timer seems to set when the compressor turns on or off. I don't think there is a way to turn the fan on and off with the timer.

How many square feet can this dehumidify?

In the list of specifications by the product picture at the top of the site it says 500 square feet, even though it states 1500 square feet in the title of the item. So what is it?
