Quality product. The metal cutting blades feel high quality and it is smooth and quiet. The flip up trimmer is a nice feature. All the attachments have numbers cut through the plastic, which makes it very easy to see. It feels like a solid, well made clipper. Will have to see how the durability is but first impressions and function are great. A well thought out kit and nice hardcase for storage. I had a Conair trimmer before and this Wahl kit was less expensive and far better quality. No brainer for the price.

Very nice and great for the price

Had to wait a few weeks since item was on back order but needed to groom myself during COVID19 quarantine. When it finally came, everything was new and packaged. It was exactly what I needed and worked great. I only wish the set came with a cape. Please read the instructions and watch a few tutorials describing the basic fundamentals of cutting your hair before using it. Use a higher number guide than you usually do since cutting your hair too short is irreversible. It was a little difficult cutting my own hair but I also gave a haircut to my two sons so it has already paid for itself. Cuts smoothly with no snagging providing a haircut exactly like a barber. Oil and a brush is provided to clean and lubricate the trimmer after use. The built in trimmer flips down easily for sideburns, hairline and necklines that I did not use the scissors and comb provided in the set. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because I have only had it for 2 days and can't vouch for the long term durability of the product. My only regret is not buying this product sooner so my sons and myself could have saved a ton of money on barbershops. I also bought the Remington HC5850 which is better for cutting your own hair since it is lighter, smaller and the rubberized grip ergonomically fits in your hand better.

I have been buzzing my own hair for 30 years. Every now and again the blades get dull. I just want something cheap that works. This does the trick.

nice cut easy to use

I'm a big fan of Wahl. Or at least I'm a fan of their older models. I got my first one in 2007 I think it was. That lasted maybe 5 years or so. The 2nd one lasted another 5 years. As a matter of fact I'm still using it because the 2 I've gotten from Amazon are brutal. The first new one lasted maybe 3 trims (I don't use it every day). I figured hey, no biggie, every now and then there might be a bad apple in an otherwise good product. The replacement they sent, the first time I used it- the motor is already struggling. It's like it surges in power. Full power it works ok. Then the power fades and the blades barely move. Also, what I really like about the Wahl is the detail trimmer. That broke on the one 5 years old (I'm ok w/ that, it lasted quite awhile), which is why I wanted to replace it. I still use the thing to cut my hair and trim my goatee. It just doesn't trim it as close as the detail trimmer does. I've bought slippers on here and they didn't fit. I didn't return them because I figured hey, that's on me. The slippers were fine. They just didn't fit. Hopefully Amazon accepts a 2nd return of the Wahl because these are poorly made trimmers. I still want a detail trimmer that works. I'm debating whether to get it from Amazon or not. The store I got my other 2 from no longer carry that particular brand. Wahl has always been a trusted brand to me. I really like this trimmer. It’s firm and will last a long time. It’s also easy to clean.

Cannot use because of the noise

Al principio no funcionaba como lo esperaba,le Heche el aceite que viene en la caja pero seguía igual,hasta que le heche aceite Truper para pequeñas maquinarias y ahora está al 100,la limpio después de cada uso y está bien.

Excelente maquina que realiza el corte de cabello con calidad y rapidez, con Excelentes resultados, para mi que no tengo alguna preparación como peluquero. La recomiendo ampliamente.
