As advertised, crystal clear Ice Skulls! It's a great conversation piece. People always ask me how I get clear ice. The ice maker is well built and feels solid. The rigidity is needed in order to separate the mold away from the maker. The trick is to have some patience and work the mold away slowly on either side of the handles. Eventually is will be loose enough to pull out. Tips: Make sure to press down on top of mold to force out any air pockets

I originally bought a 4-cavity round kit and it has been working great. I wanted skulls for a Halloween party and they didn't have just the silicone molds so I bought another complete unit with the skulls and I bought the diamond inserts as well. This system works really really well. I get super clear and great tasting ice fro just tap water. I fill it with warm water and the 4-cavity unit takes about 40 hours. The 2 cavity is ready in just over 24 so really you're better off just getting the 2-cavity one. This is a solid product that has been producing clear ice like crazy.

This makes beautiful, super clear ice. I can make 2 cubes a day roughly which seems slow, which it kind of is, but you build a stockpile after a while in the freezer which becomes plenty. The other molds you can get to make this product worth it. Also the quality of this product is exceptional.

I just wish it wasn't so big and took so much space to make two ice skulls.
