SealLine Discovery View Dry Bag, Orange, 20-Liter

Quick and easy to use, I like the fact that you can push out the air manually. When empty it is compact and small. I was able to stuff all clothes without any of them getting wet. From time to time I also put electronics and other items, multi functional.

Well built, strong material. A few mills thicker than other brands of dry bags but still light weight. Perfect for backpackers, backcountry hunters and anglers. All the air gets pushed out and you have a super compact bag!

I purchased the 5L dry bag as part of acquiring necessary gear to begin backpacking with my girlfriend. I had read several good reviews and decided to take the plunge. While I haven't had the chance to test it in the rain or wet conditions yet, we took a Thanksgiving trip to visit & stay with my girlfriend's grandmother, staying for 2 days in a house that had been chain smoked in since the 1980s. The sort of house you can *smell* the photos taken there. The sort of house where all your clothes need a washing after even the briefest entry thanks to the decades of tar and smoke imbued in the walls, paint, curtains, carpet, and furniture. I kept my clean clothes in this bag. Whenever we would leave I'd simply wait until we got to our new location, take off my cigarette laden clothes, throw them in a trash bag to keep them separate, and take a fresh pair out of the bag. Absolutely no smell. I'd imagine that if they can spend 48+ hours in that kind of environment, anything but the most torrential of showers would be a laughing matter for this dry bag. Will update after a wet field test, but I see myself purchasing additional sizes and duplicates for various uses.

This one seems more plausible than the older one which became brittle at the closure. It looks like they are using better materials on the new one.

Love it. I always forget what's in which bag, so the model in clear makes it easy. Packed it on a motorcycle trip and it's rugged!

These bags are waterproof and rugged. You can easily see what is inside, and the air purge valve makes sealing the bag easy.

Defective! DO NOT BUY! I bought two and both did not work. The air valve does not let air pass through. I even sat on it and no air passes through. I even emailed SealLine and they've discontinued this product.

I liked the size our this dry bag, and I followed the instructions to the letter, but it's in fact not waterproof after finding my phone submerged in a layer of water in the bag while carrying it in a lagoon. Fortunately, my phone survived (older models definitely would not have) but required drying out the charging port for awhile before being able to charge again. If going on hikes that expose you to water/rain, I suppose this would be a great dry bag. But I would caution against using this in potentially submersed scenarios.

Das View Dry Bag ist "eigentlich" super. Ich habe ein 10L Bag ohne Probleme im Einsatz. Dieses neu gekauft 20L Bag hielt 2 SUP-Ausfahren durch, dann löste sich währen der Fahrt der orangefarbene Boden zu 70% einfach ab (Keine Verklebungsrückstände sichtbar). Lag es an dem heißen Sommer? Es hatte 30°. Glücklicherweise fielen keine Gegenstände in den See!

スーツケース内の衣類の圧縮梱包に使おうと購入。 以前使用していた、エアが抜けやすいバルブが付いたもっと薄い素材のものの方がよかった。 ネジ締め式バルブの方が 圧倒的に使い勝手が良い。 半透明で内容物が見えるのはとてもよい。 経年劣化で剥がれるコーティングが 使われていないのもよい。 急ぎ購入したので 用途に合わなかったのは仕方ない。 だが良い勉強をした。 半透明の部分にしみあり、−☆1。
