I usually don’t notice any immediate effects from individual supplements, but this one seems to really increase my physical energy - more than liposomal glutathione, NAC, Nicotinamide Riboside, or molecular hydrogen, which are my other go-to’s for energy. I take this every day now.

I found out that this product received a "Not Approved" test, it was 12.3mg L-Ergothioneine. Not being as declared is not good, but still better than the 5mg of their top pick. Double Woods does 3rd party testing but not every batch. I like Ergothioneine I have ordered another brand.

I guess 5 stars... it is one of those supplements that you don't know why you take it, or what it does. It does something with your telomeres, on your DNA, by being an antioxidant for them and all. Sounds impressive. In theory that could keep your cells around longer. Telomeres are floated around as what could make people immortal. But they're also involved with aging or cancer. But some of the longest living animals have short telomeres, too, so it isn't very conclusive that making them longer is beneficial to aging or living longer. You want unhealthy things to have short telomeres so they break down, which is how we avoid cancers and tumors. But I mean, we have receptors for l-ergothioneine, so it has to do something, and healthy mushrooms contain a ton of it!! So what is so great about it?? Besides the antioxidant factor. And how do you know it is working? And is it any better than vitamin C or astaxanthin? So... i can't give it 5 stars as a supplement, but the quality of the product is top notch being Double Wood Supplements which i usually trust. I have had issues with some of their products and their trustworthiness, so i can't give 5 stars on that either. They have misled me in the past as to what was in a mushroom extract they have sold me. They also had another product they didnt label properly. Sometimes what they have on Amazon doesn't match their bottles. So ai can't vouch for them. But I used to trust them as a vendor. I would just say as for the supplement, the data supporting l-ergo soes not support it as aomething worth taking. I did trial this bottle and noticed no benefits. I noticed nothing as far as side effects either.

I am taking it and like it. It is good supplement. The result is not coming immediately but with time. Recommend.
