Tocca Simone Eau de Parfum Travel Size, 20ml

A new fragrance that combines the heady fragrance of frangipane, 'blond' woods and a fruity note. "Tocca Simone Eau de Parfum" is from a previously unknown brand and may be the brand's sole offering to date. Although not an expert on ladies' fragrances, personal understanding is that an 'eau de parfum' is an intermediate between the full strength and typically expensive parfum and the much lighter, essentially diluted and relatively affordable eau de toilette within that family. Its fragrance is so intense that it can be applied mid- to late morning and remain noticeble well into the late evening and early morning hours; a subsequent light application would intensify the remaining fragrance level. For its trial, very little was applied to one wrist and spread to the other; its fragrance was still detectable the following morning. Were the parfum also to be available, its fragrance may persist for a full 24 hours or beyond. While woody fragrances (often sandalwood, rosemary or thyme and sometimes nutmeg) were once exclusive to male fragrances, they became very popular with many ladies of whom some would purchase such products either to share with their male partner or to use themselves; many ladies' fragrances are now using these elements. Similarly, fruit and citrus extracts were also formerly male-only territory but are now considered gender-neutral. That may explain the inclusion of watermelon in this. The bottle's small size, just 20ml, at £42, makes it a select product. The specific character of frangipane is likely, as the manufacturers suggest, to make the fragrance especially attractive to the younger female, some of whom would strongly hint it as a potential gift for themselves by their boyfriend, fiancé or parent. It may be equally attractive to the slightly older woman, still enjoying life to the full, who may also be better able to buy it herself. It is unlikely to be an everyday fragrance, but is probably best reserved for use on a special event, evenings out and date-nights.

At £42 for just a 20ml bottle working out at £210 per 100ml, I'd class this above a budget perfume. So to justify the price, in my view it needs:- - Have a bottle which looks and feels premium - To smell nice, but be sophisticatedly subtle and understated - last a decent amount of time So the bottle does look nice and subtle, but unfortunately the bottle lid is made of cheap plastic, and looks and feels it. Given how much they're charging, they really should have spent a few pence more for a nicer lid! - First impressions to count especially for a premium product. The smell itself is really nice and fresh. There's a good hint of watermelon, which is actually very nice. The main thing is that it's not overpowering and the nice smell is subtle enough to definitely lift it above the budget perfume crowd. Another bonus is that it managed to last most of the day, so if you're wearing it for an evening out, you should be ok for 4-6 hours at least. Normally, for most alcohol based perfurmes, there's an allergic reaction with my skin, but in this case there isn't - which is a great relief. And generally I find that only the more premium perfumes achieve this, which is a big plus for this. So what do I think? - well at £42 it's certainly not budget, but you can also pay hundreds for a similar amount if you go high end. The fact there's no allergic reaction I found a real bonus here, and the scent is nice. Only let down by the cheap bottle lid. Would I recommend it? Definitely.

Lovely perfume that lasts for hours. I didn't think this little bottle of perfume would last long, but it turns out that you don't need lots of it to make an impact. The scent is beautiful, and I've had lots of compliments about it. The bottle size is perfect for slipping into your handbag, and it is easily a new favourite of mine. Overall, beautiful long lasting scent - recommended.

A decent quality product that comes very well presented in a lovely box I’m not too familiar with this brand and I’m normally unsure of using unnamed brands, however, Tocca Simone is a cool product that has a lovely scent with a good longevity The whole package is nicely designed and would make a lovely gift The price may sound a little high as it’s not a household name, but it’s lovely perfume that’s definitely worth trying

I'd never heard of this fragrance house before testing this bottle and I'm so glad that I was given the chance to try it out. I'm a it of a fragrance obsessive and have a lot already, I prefer quite heady fragrance that lasts most if the day without the need to reapply, this Tocca Simon fragrance is almost an all dayer. Its presented beautifully and the only thing that let's it down cosmetically is the top with seems somewhat at odds with the price tag, the fragrance itself and the bottle... its a little cheap and tacky by comparison. However there's nothing cheap and tacky about the floral powdery perfume inside this bottle, it's a joy and ideal as a spring / summer fragrance with being fresh. The floral notes have no sickly sweetness to them but a soft powdery dry down which makes you want to keep sniffing where you've sprayed. I recommend spraying a cotton hanky with just one squirt for this purpose. If you've ever used Jean - Charles Brosseau, Ombre Rose and Calvin Klein Eternity Rose this Tocca Simone reminds me of a cross between the two. It's not as sweet as the Eyernity and not as powdery as Ombre Rose but this is the best way I can describe how it smells to me. It's a 20ml bottle so it's a high end price tag at £42 for 20ml, do I think it's worth this price tag? Well not really as the longevity isn't as good as I'd want from this price range. For me to pay this price I'd want one squirt on each arm to last at least 6-8 hours (that's a reasonable expectation as many of my other perfumes last this long) that said I'd be absolutely delighted to receive it as a gift. The longevity vs price tag is why I've dropped one star.

I never heard of this brand before and I haven't tried it previously but I'm so glad I got the chance. And although I'm not good at describing fragrances - I never separate the individual things in them - I'm impressed with this. It's not cheap but considering it's longetivity I consider this a good price. The packaging is pretty good as well and cute.

I have to admit, I've never heard of this brand before and was quite intrigued to try out something different and honestly I was not disappointed!! This smells absolutely wonderful 😍so subtle and floral and long lasting too! I sprayed this twice on my work jumper and it actually lasted the whole day. I was super impressed. This honestly smells sooo good and I can't stop smelling it😂🥰. A very sweet and delicate scent 👌🏻only con is that this is quite expensive for 20ml, however a little goes a long way and this smells amazing and lasts for ages. The packaging is also quite nice and compact. Nice little pretty box 👍🏻Would make for a good gift too!! Super impressed with this and would definitely recommend 😍I'm actually looking into buying a bigger bottle, that's how good it is!!

Simone is a scent from Tocca that was first launched and I don't know why it isn't more well known. It might be because the initial scent of the perfume is not very promising. It has a really sharp apple and lemon scent which is somewhat aggressive. However those are only the top notes and once it has settled you get a lovely sweet watermelon scent coming through, balanced soon after with the florals: the frangipani and rose scents stop the watermelon from being too sickly sweet. There are also some subtle woody scents in the base notes which add some grounding to the scent, whilst allowing it to remain light and summery. I would say that this is an ideal summer scent as it balances the fruit and flower notes without allowing anything to be overpowering. It is an eau de parfum so does linger and develop on the skin for much longer than a standard eau de toilette, and you need to use far less of it. The packaging is pretty and understated, and as a small vial it's perfect to take away on a weekend (or week away) in the summer. It is pricey, yes, but a little goes a long way.

I bought this without even smelling it because someone on reddit said if you enjoy DKNY Be Delicious, you'll like this too. That random reddit person wasn't wrong, I love this perfume :) smells nothing like DKNY to me, BUT it has this grown and sexy scent that I love. Doesn't smell like a grandmas perfume! I give it an 8.5 out of 10.

Elegant musky scent that I can’t get enough of! My fiancé even mentioned he noticed a new, pleasant enticing scent. A little spritz goes a long way. One of my favorite perfumes. No issues with packaging/delivery.
