Gentle Stain Remover, 1L

Really useful for stains, especially blood. Foams up when applied on the stain.

It works really well on new stains. As you pour it on to a fresh stain it goes white and foams around the stain, you can see it lifting off and it's fantastic. I haven't found this works on old stains that have been washed in but I'm not sure if any stain remover does. It is perfectly colour safe and I've used it on white, black and colour fabric with success.

Not only good 4 clothes, I also use it as a substitute if I run out of washing up liquid - a little on your sponge, works brilliantly on the dishes, cutlery and glassware. So good as a soapy soak for your pots with anything stuck to the bottom or burnt on. Very versatile product with subtle and pleasant scent. Also recommend Ace Power Mousse spray - good for surfaces and again burnt on bits in your pots or cooker tops.

Loved this making it was so brilliant quality value and easy to use.

EDIT April 2018 - If your bottles of Ace arrive, and they are all wobbly, I've found the solution. Carefully open the bottle, and squeeze the sides so that the liquid rises approximately 1cm up the bottle - there should be 4-5cm of air between the top of the liquid and the opening of the bottle. Reseal the bottle tightly, and it will suck up the base of the bottle, allowing it to stand perfectly flat. You are welcome! How did I not know about this before?! I've heard this mentioned online repeatedly, and stumbled upon it on here looking for add-on items. Just throw a capful in the wash with the clothes, rather than in the powder/conditioner drawer, and wash your clothes as normal. Works brilliantly to clear all the stains I can throw at it. Can be used directly onto really bad stains. For the price, it's a steal. I bought 1 bottle with my first order, then 5 with my second order!

INTRODUCTION: Because of various problems with the washing machine regarding the accumulation of bacteria during the procedure and a musty small most of the time, since there are no balconies in my flat and I’m forced to dry my garments inside. I was advised of this product, for it helps to resolve the problems cited above and especially to remove the most common stains. PROS: The first detail which induced me to buy the product in question on Amazon instead of a supermarket can be recognised in the quality-price ratio. Its smell is not too strong: it’s, contrastingly, very delicate and restricts itself to take its effect against bacteria. With regard to the problem of stinky garments, I noticed a slight improvement in comparison with the previous situation. CONS: To be honest, I have serious doubts about the effectiveness of this product: my clothes persist in stinking and, in terms of bacteria, I’m not a chemical nor a scientist, so I’m not able to analyse the product with regard to its scientific properties ensuring its effectiveness. Last, but not least, it removes stains easy to clean with different (and cheaper) products. In other words, I was forced to remove tough stains by employing a different product. OUTLINE: Substantially, I continue to use this stain remover, but I have several doubts about its effectiveness. I remark that nevertheless, I cannot prove it, but it should help to remove most bacteria from my clothes, therefore I rate it with not less than three.
