At just under 10 GBP, this Viva Test rapid antigen kit is perhaps not cheap for a single-use item, but the convenience it offers is substantial. The package includes everything required to perform the swab test at home, including the cassette, swab, and dilutants. The instructions are straightforward and easy to follow, making the testing process strictly functional and simple to execute without needing to schedule a clinic visit. The primary advantage of this 2-in-1 kit is privacy and speed. The packaging is completely discreet, and the rapid results are available in as little as 10 minutes, saving you from long, stressful waiting times for laboratory processing. While one certainly hopes not to need it frequently, it is undeniably nice to have them at home, just in case. It provides immediate clarity and peace of mind, making it a sensible and reliable item to keep stored in the medicine cabinet.

Easy to use discreetly at home, clear instructions only thing is I actually thought the one of the vials was missing but as they are clear and so small it was tucked in behind the cardboard flap inside the box

I’m really impressed with the Viva Test STI kit. The instructions were clear, the process was quick, and it felt easy to use for both male and female testing. I appreciated the privacy of testing at home and getting fast results without stress. Overall, this kit made an uncomfortable topic much more manageable, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a simple and discreet option.

The results appear to be accurate, as I compared them with a clinical STI test I ordered online and sent off for laboratory testing, as well as a separate test carried out by a nurse. All tests returned the same results, which is reassuring. The instructions are easy to follow, and everything you need is included in the kit. A few points to bear in mind: this is an internal test. For men, this means using a swab that must be inserted approximately 2.5 cm. It is fairly invasive and uncomfortable, as it involves inserting the swab deeper than most people are used to. I won’t sugar-coat it — it was painful, and twisting the swab (as instructed) didn’t exactly improve the experience. This definitely took my reviewing duties to another level — suffering for my art! While the process itself was not pleasant, it did deliver a result. Given that it matched the results of the other professional tests, I can reasonably assume it is accurate. Overall, it offers good value for money at just £8.95 for peace of mind, providing testing for two common STIs: chlamydia and gonorrhoea.

I have not used this yet but i have carefully examined the package and contents. It seems like a good quality product. It's a lateral flow test of the type that we got used to during the pandemic, but testing for Chlamydia and Gonorrhea instead of Covid. It's cleanly packaged and has all the necessary parts, and the instructions seem easy to follow. I will use this as and when my life requires it; I am glad to have it "in stock" ready for that.
