Excellent multiplayer game.
Incredibly easy to set up and understand. The game is hilarious and utilises the same set up as Cards Against Humanity but it will be timeless because it does not rely on current cultural references or for the players to know who the people being mentioned are. Great value for money, excellent quality and easy to play at the local pub with friends.

Very funny and exceptionally immature game for Adults
Like a cross between a mix and match flip book and cards against humanity resulting in the style of a three square editorial cartoon played out on a therapists couch, hopefully to an absurdly amusing conclusion. It sometimes falls flat if the cards in play don't have the context but a simple solution for this is more players more cards therefore more chances. To top this it can be played straight out of and indeed back into the box. That's tidy! An all round great game, Brilliant!

A more elaborate Cards Against Humanity
It’s ok, think I wanted it to be better than it was. Essentially Cards Against Humanity with an extra card each round

Made this psychotherapist laugh like a drain
The Oatmeal is always entertaining and this game is a foul but hilarious tribute to their comedy. It works best with larger groups and some alcoholic lubrication. The artwork is fantastic and it really sets the tone. I found it a perfect option for our group who have grown a little tired of Cards Against Humanity.

We picked up Horrible Therapists on a whim, and it’s now one of our go-to party games. It’s easy to learn, quick to play, and absolutely ridiculous in the best way. The prompts and card combos are sharp, a little unhinged, and had our whole table laughing so hard we had to pause the game more than once. It shines with a mixed group of friends who enjoy dark, irreverent humor—and it’s perfect for breaking the ice. Replay value is great, too. Even with the same people, new card pairings keep the jokes fresh, and the judging banter is half the fun. Just know your crowd: the humor can be edgy, so it’s not a family game night pick.

It is very easy and extremely funny. Definitely NSFW and not for kids, as it has a lot of crass humour and cartoon nudity, gore, etc. but with the right crowd it's a riot. I have played Joke Hazard, and this is similar with just a different framing and so having both is still a different experience. I prefer this game personally, and so did the other participants if that helps. I recommend with any game like this, don’t bother keeping points. What we did was voted each round what we thought was the funniest card but you couldn’t vote for your own. One time when we all were bummed that the card we drew was better than we played, we just played the same round again. Discard between however much you want, the goal isn’t to win the round, but make it hilarious for me and my friends, and this approach improves all games like this. So Joke Hazard, Cards Against Humanity, Apples to Apples, whatever. Try a non competitive play sometime if you haven’t, it’s great.
