I’m very happy with this automatic feeder. The setup process was quick and straightforward, and the app was easy to connect and use. I love being able to monitor my pets remotely and check in on them through the cameras when I’m away from home.The food dispensing has been reliable, and the dual feeding trays work great for multiple pets. The video quality is clear, and the night vision feature is a nice bonus. The feeder also has a large capacity, so I don’t have to refill it constantly.Overall, this has given me peace of mind knowing my pets are fed on schedule and that I can see them anytime. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a smart pet feeder that’s easy to set up and use.

I'm writing this review after having two of these autofeeders for about a year and I can confidently say they were well worth the purchase. They took about 15 minutes to set up (you do have to download an app) but it wasn't confusing or difficult. You can set up a feeding schedule which can easily be changed (I make adjustments when we're out of town vs when we're home) and the camera is nice to have to check in on who's eating what when we're away. The stainless steel bowls pop right out so I can run them through the dishwasher occasionally which I really appreciate from a cleanliness stand point and the size of the food receptacle means I only have to refill them about monthly (we feed wet food as well). They've worked consistently for the year we've had them and I'm confident my kitties are getting fed while we're away (though obviously have someone check on them once a day just in case and to feed wet food!).

I genuinely cannot say enough good things about the Frienhund Automatic Cat Feeder with 2K Camera. This thing is a total game changer.The 2K camera quality is crystal clear, even at night thanks to the night vision, so I can check on my cat anytime and actually see what he’s doing, not just a blurry shape. The app control is seamless. I can adjust feeding schedules, portion sizes, and monitor everything straight from my phone with zero hassle.But the best part? The two-way audio. I can literally talk to him when I’m not home, and he responds to my voice. That alone makes this worth it.The custom voice recording feature is also such a thoughtful touch. I recorded a little message that plays before his food is dispensed, and now he comes running every time. It keeps his routine consistent even when I’m not there.Setup was quick, and once connected, it’s been very reliable. One quick note: it does not connect to 5GHz WiFi networks, so you’ll need to use a 2.4GHz connection during setup. Once I switched over, everything worked perfectly.If you’re on the fence, don’t be. This is one of those rare products that actually exceeds expectations.10/10, would absolutely recommend.

I purchased this for my cat. It was easy to assemble. Very sturdy, I love the camera feature where you can see when your cat comes to eat. The food canister is clear so you can see how much is left so youll never run out without knowing. I think it would also work great for a small dog too

I haven’t tried the feeder part yet. I still need to test the feeder functionality. I bought this for vacation use but still need to do test run & introduce it to the cats. The camera is great quality. The photo I have attached is outside at night being used for our strays. So very minimal light and you can still see great, it has like its own light that isn’t visible somehow and you can only see it on the screen not in person. Audio works well both ways. It works almost like a walkie talkie I believe. I think you can’t really hear anything unless noise is detected and then you can hear. Which is probably good for reducing background noise. But I was able to hear them meow. Will update after trying the feeding function. The size capacity is large. It’s about the size of my food container for my strays, I feed 1-7 / night and my container usually lasts a few days so this should be just fine. Visually, it’s aesthetically pleasing and looks nice. It’s all good quality. The bowl is decently wide and shallow, could be better especially if using for every day feeding and not just vacation feeding. If everyday I’d maybe see if I could place a bigger bowl below it to prevent whisker fatigue. I love that it has the option for batteries in case of a power outage. This is a great safety feature.

I've only been using this about two weeks, but it works great! Had to play with the portion controls a little. One portion is probably 10 pieces. Goof for a snack but not for a meal. It only took a couple of minutes to download the app and get it up and running. Now that I know it works, I want to see how many days a full tank will last. I have a double feeder from a different company as well. Two cats immediately took to the feeders. The third cat was a little skeptical. Yes, they are noisy when the food drops into the metal dishes, but it's not a problem for us or the cats. Ironically, the cats still wake me up at their usual feeding time, whether there's food in the dishes or not.

We have 4 cats so bought 2. I like the simple app features and that you can schedule, use app to trigger, or trigger on device it manually if you need. Battery backup if internet goes out or power goes off was a life saver when one of the cats stepped on the power strip and turned off the switch.It’s pretty sturdy as you can see from the photo. I’ve caught both my 11.5lb and 14lb cats sitting on top of them and they didn’t topple over.We’ve had them for a couple months and here are a few downsides so far:1. It’s not easy to change out the food without emptying it thru the bowls. I forgot to put batteries in one and needed to turn it upside down to do so. When I pulled the half full food canister off, food came out the bottom of the canister and went everywhere. Common sense and the knowledge of gravity should have made me realize that would happen but I didn’t think it through before acting. Whoops!2. I have one smart cat who is teaching the others new skills. After they are feed, they go to each feeder port and stick their paws way up inside the holes and dig around for a bit. Kind of similar to one of the food puzzle things, they are able to move the contraption inside and get more food out. From what I’ve seen, they can only do this after they’re fed, with the remaining food that’s trapped in that section because it didn’t come out the “slide”. I was worried they’d be able to move the internal turnstile and always get food but that doesn’t seem to be the case.3. You cannot turn off one side. No matter what, it will feed on both sides. So if you have 3 cats, it’s an issue. This is a bummer right now for us because one cat is a kitten and she gets different food. So we have to let her eat their food when we’re out of town or we have to be there to pour one food bowl back in while she’s getting fed in the other room.4. It’s very loud when the food hits the bowls. The cats can hear it a mile away and it took them a few feedings to get used to it. At first it would scare the bajezus out of them but now they come to the feeder and wait because they know when the food is coming soon.All in all, it’s been a game changer for our pet sitter and saves us lots of trouble when we have a spontaneous weekend away.

One of the best purchases I've made for my cat. It's easy to set up, works with scheduled feedings consistently, has a decent app (I only use the free functionality), and I like that it comes with a camera option that works well enough. I use dental kibble which is on the larger side, and this feeder has not jammed yet after a few weeks if use. Very good pricing for what the product offers.The only downside is that the amount of feed in one "portion" is preset. It works fine for me as it's a small enough amount with our dental food, but thought that was worth noting.

.Looks good, easy to assemble and set up using the app and it dispenses the food well. When it is initially powered up it lets out a loud intermittent beep which disappears when it's all set up. I'd previously let a qualified review because of an intermittent beeping but eventually discovered the extension cord I'd used to power the unit was a little dodgy and the unit was occasionally losing power, and beeping when it powered up again. My fault and having changed the cord it works perfectly. Highly recommended.

Es grande, es de buena calidad, el diseño es bueno y no se cae. Mi gato siempre tiraba su antiguo comedero, pero con este no le es posible. Habiéndolo tenido ya desde hace 2 meses el único problema que le encuentro es que tiene una “fuga” de comida. Si mi gato empuja el comedero caen croquetas. Con cualquier movimiento medianamente brusco salen más croquetas. Entonces es difícil estimar la cantidad real de comida que dispensa en el día.
