I’ve tried more than half a dozen almond milk brands, and I always come back to Elmhurst. In my opinion, they make the best‑tasting, highest quality unsweetened almond milk. Unlike other national brands, there’s no unnecessary additives or fillers. It is a bit pricey but the quality makes it worth it.

Been drinking Elmhurst 1925 Unsweetened Milked Almonds for the last 10 yrs. No one else has a product close to Elmhurst 1925. Only 2 ingredients. Almonds and water. No sugar which is perfect for Diabetics. I mix the unsweetened milked almonds with a protein powder in a blender for a smoothy. Thick and foamy. Tastes great and now that I can get Elmhurst 1925 Milked Almonds thru Amazon it saves $20. per order on shipping directly from Elmhurst 1925. Usually very very good!!! This expiry date 12/26 should still be good but for some reason there’s a lot of stuff that doesn’t dissolve. It still tastes good and I will continue to use all 6 bottles, but they need to be strained. And there’s still a “gritty” texture to it.

Really Disgusting! Solids SEPARATED from liquids, confirmed by other reviews. One has to wonder how many of theses defects are in the pipeline?

I LOVE this almond milk! It's rich and creamy and contains only almonds and water -- so rare to find one that isn't filled with gums and fillers and thickeners. I get this as a 6-pack on Subscribe and Save and that's been working well for several months. But, this last shipment was NOT fabulous -- one of the cartons wasn't sealed properly and the Elmhust box (within the Amazon box -- with another "soft" item) was not closed securely. Apparently the cartons moved around in shipping, the unsealed carton leaked all over everything else, the box was wet and leaking when it arrived... the outer Amazon box had been re-taped somewhere along the way (Amazon tape is paper with words on it)... someone else covered it with clear plastic tape... So, I had to check all the cartons, wash everything off, and dispose of the soggy boxes. I'll continue to order this product, but I hope they find some more secure way of shipping -- and ensure each carton is properly sealed, so I don't pay for 6 cartons and get only 5, again.

That this milk is pure almond milk only using 2 ingredients, almonds and water. It is worth the added expense. Also it can stay on the shelf until opened. And it doesn't taste half bad!!

WOW! Impressive Elmhurst Unsweetened Almond Milk tasting sooooo refreshingly good that has a touch of nutty-milky flavour but of course, having to shake the carton and pour it through a mesh stainless steel filter to a cup first before drinking it as it does have some natural separation that may look like curdles because of the ONLY pure ingredients that it has ONLY Water and Almond Nuts ONLY meaning does not contain gummies or thickeners for the very reason why this looking like curdles happens; though, I must add to always check on carton for "Best Before Date" and for spoilage if taste and smell is good. Otherwise, it certainly saves me a lot of time in the long run from doing my own grinding almonds that's purchased at the store including soaking and peeling skin off to milk production. I came upon this Elmhurst almond milk while looking for a healthier option for plant-based milk for myself and my family. We are trying to ditch regular cow milk and powdered milk. I have tried popular brands of almond milk but just felt it either did not taste like almond or it was filled with too many chemicals. Before buying this, I made sure I read the reviews. I'm now on the third bottle and I can say this: I know this is healthy because it taste like chalk water, it is not necessarily pleasant to drink as is, but with healthy cereals and smoothies it works great. I'm also so much more happy to know that I'm am not ingesting anything other than water and almonds when I drink this. Price wise, given the while family uses this every other day, it's unsustainable to keep buying this every time. But we will try again, I am.pretty convinced this is the best option available for us in Canada and the US. OVERALL, good product but middle class family can barely afford it as a replacement to cow milk.

Was truly enjoying this healthy, smooth, tasty almond milk until my last batch. I had to filter every carton to make my Matcha latte. What happened? Elmhirst? Amazon fake? So disappointing.

BEST almond milk -- no sugar or stabilizers, just almonds and water. Froths up beautifully for a cappuccino or latter and is amazing for baking. I wouldn't buy anything else

This stuff tastes like chalk. However, I gave it five stars because it doesn't contain any harmful ingredients or synthetic 'vitamins' or sugars like other brands. I use this to make almond milk matcha lattes and definitely need some sweetener to make it taste good. Price was typical of that brand.
