These packets are pretty much impossible to open without a scissor and I don’t carry scissors around with me in my pockets. The packets don’t seem to any kind of “starter” area allowing them to be torn open easily. Not having a scissor handy, I attempted to tear these packets open with my teeth. Unfortunately I was (literally) only able to get open maybe one out of eight or nine packets which are made of some kind of very strong and durable plastic. Additionally this sweetener is not very sweet and it did not make my coffee taste particularly good or sweet no matter how much I used. I purchased this product hoping to get away from the awful aftertaste of Aspartame. When it runs out, I will not repurchase. For me it’s back to the drawing board.

There is absolutely no flavor or aftertaste, but I need to use 2 packets to get sweetness compared to for example Stevia

I should have read the reviews but I didn't because I know what erythritol is, and that is exactly what I had been searching. Unfortunately these are wrapped in thick plastic, not paper. Annoying for the planet but also makes these unusable. I wanted them on the go of course but they can't be opened by hand They don't even have a little weakened slit for "tear here." I'm traveling and just figured this out because I can't sweeten my coffee. I wouldn't give it any stars in the mood this gives me. Completely wasted money. Edit: I was able to open it with a plastic knife if anyone else is in this boat but I would still recommend saving your money.

I have been ordering Swerve packets from Amazon for a couple of years but now they are not available. I found this product and decided to try it. This is the perfect replacement, no funny taste, dissolves quickly. I highly recommend it.
