So I'm evaluating the case based on the quality alone.I had a mCover case for my previous laptop (a MacBook Pro) and I was impressed with how well it stood up to bumps and bangs, plus multiple trips through airports and trains. So when I saw this brand was making cases for my Pixelbook, I was REALLY excited. They didn't let me down: the case is just as secure as its predecessor, snaps on perfectly, and has already withstood a bump into a wall (what can I say, I'm clumsy) with no issues.I purchased the green color and it's a lovely bright emerald tone. The case is matte and that nice balance of rough and shiny. The ports that need exposed are open and the screen is protected without being too covered (the silver around the black edges of the screen is still almost completely visible).I'm looking forward to using this for the next year or two and covering it with stickers just as I did my last case.
