ease of use
Like this multimeter a lot. Does everything and more for my personal use. I do like the min/max feature particularly on car batteries when starting so you can observe the drop in voltage . I like to select switch for different functions and it feels quality . The leads are quit soft and flexible. Definitely a great addition to the work bench but I gave still kept 2 other multimeters in other tool kits but this one is quickly becoming my favourite. Remember this is my opinion only but for DIY and maybe some professional use its a nice unit at a reasonable price. Shame about not having protective case.

4 stars for the product and 1 star for customer service. 5 stars
If you are looking for a full function budget multimeter, this one is certainly worth looking at. My only small gripe with this unit, and it may not be a problem for you, is the illumination function, or backlight. Whilst it works and certainly improves clarity of the display in lower light conditions, it de-illuminates far to quickly. You press the button to use it, obviously you are looking at the unit, then you apply your probes to what ever it is you are measuring, but then the backlight turns off in about 15 secs, which may or may not be enough time to get your reading depending on how easy it is to apply the probes. I would prefer the illumination stayed on for longer, or better yet, an option to have the backlight remain on permanently. The unit is solid and feels sturdy in hand. The probes fit snuggly into the ports and are comfortable to hold. The magnet is strong enough to hang the unit if you can find something to stick it to, but if you use the magnet on back of the unit making a loop, it doesn't hold it very securely, but I do not think it is designed to be used like that. The magnet is easily removable with a Velcro strap should you wish to. The stand that extends from the back, has a small amount of give, making it slightly less rigid. I like this because should you put the unit down too hard the stand will give a little, rather than being too rigid and breaking. It is more likely to survive an accidental drop. The red silicone outer sleeve actually seems very accurately made, mine came off with a small amount of encouragement (it didn't fall off easily) and when re-fitted went back on perfectly. I do not know why you would really want to use the unit without, as it offers drop and insulating protection. The pictures are accurate and not mis leading, you get what is pictured and it looks the same as shown. I had a small issue, after contacting the seller, I received a prompt and polite reply that was eager to offer help and assistance, the Issue was resolved very swiftly. Sometimes things go wrong and how we are dealt with, can really change the whole experience. Despite my gripe, this is unit is perfect for my needs. Remembering this is a budget unit, I feel that you are getting a good product for the price point, some people have mentioned cheap construction, but lets be fair, for the price it is well made. Functionality is all there and this unit measures what is states. On top though, my interaction with this seller was friendly and helpful. I am confident that should I purchase something else from this seller and I have and issue, it will be genuinely looked into and I will be offered polite, friendly and helpful assistance (because that already happened). Friends, you can buy with confidence, in my opinion, from this seller.

Good accuracy, lots of functions
My UNI-T 135C multi-meter just stopped working after two years for no apparent reason, seems a common problem with that meter after doing a bit of research online. I wanted to replace it with something similar, this one from AstroAI has all the same measurement functions except for NCV, which is a shame but this meter was half the price of the UNI-T meter and has the same reasonably fast 6000-count auto-ranging for basic Voltage, Resistance and Current measurements and nice extras like temperature and capacitance measurement. The continuity tester is not that fast but the beep is loud. There is a handy magnetic strap for fixing the meter to suitable metal surfaces so it hangs down conveniently at eye-level, but you can remove the velcro fastener if you don't need to use it. Auto-Power-Off can be disabled by holding down the Select button when turning the meter on (you'll hear three short beeps and the "APO" symbol will disappear from the display). One other thing I miss apart from NCV is that this meter doesn't display the frequency when measuring AC voltage and current, you must manually switch the dial to Hz/Duty to see this, which is not so convenient. Otherwise I think this is a perfectly good meter and certainly good value.

Decent meter, big display, and separate current ports
For ages I've had one of those cheap multimeters, and I really fancied something a bit more capable - this did not disappoint. I got it, the Khanka Hard Case, and the separate test leads kit all together as a gift to myself. While I might have loved to own Fluke, this one does what I need without breaking the bank! It comes with enough stuff to be immediately very good, though I prefer the test leads from the separate kit - the stock ones are fine and still come with removable tip shrouds (so you don't accidentally short between component legs so easily). The display is nice and big, and there's no problem with viewing angle. The backlight is electroluminescent or similar, so it's a good uniform blue to read off. The built-in stand is nice and steady, but it can jam sometimes when folding back in. There's an integrated magnetic strap too, which I've not had to use yet but which is very good at picking up steel grinding dust from the workbench. While the test leads are all properly shrouded for safety, you can also plug in regular 4mm banana leads if you're doing a hookup on a bench (the separate test leads kit comes with spring clip leads with stacking banana connectors, which can be really handy for certain setups). One feature I bought this specifically for is that the current measurement ranges all use separate connectors - so there's never a situation where the voltage test ports are shorted together. So long as you're methodical and always return your leads to the main input, you're unlikely to accidentally blow up fuses (or equipment). There are two separate current connections and both are separately fused; there is no unfused range. The current shunts are somewhere around 100mΩ (A connector), 1Ω (mA setting) 100Ω (µA setting).

Great Product, Does what it says.
great quality product with lots of features. gives high accuracy readings and lets you easily cycle through how precise you want your reading to be with the Range button. Thought the null button being called 'Relative' was confusing at first but that's just me. Here's a list of pros and cons I can think of: PROS: -Has a backlight -Hold feature -Kickstand and magnetic strap -Comes with battery -Decent length leads -comes with temp sensor and transistor/capacitor adapter -Auto Power Off feature so it doesn't die if you forget about it CONS: -Very beepy (If there's a way to turn buzzer off please let me know) -Tolerance on the plugs are weird (I'm probably just weak but it is quite hard to plug and unplug) -If it wasn't for a review I saw on here I wouldn't know that you can turn off the Auto Power Off feature so It doesn't turn off suddenly -Backlight only stays on for 15 seconds (again please let me know if you know how to keep it on) Other than a few cons it is genuinely all I could ask for as a hobbyist; it does the job and tells me what I need to know, and that kickstand really comes in useful. Hope this review helps.
