This printer , scanner and copier is nice and compact in size, purchased it to replace my brother psc as the scanning function stopped working on it. Installation was more difficult than on other occasions when I have bought a printer. After installing I tried to scan a document but got a message saying you need to download the scanning software. This had to be done after the original installation . I found this a bit strange. Print , copy and scan quality is good . Has a nice slim paper tray that slides very easily, a blue light that shows that you are connected to WiFi ( if it flashes it means you are not ) and a very neat multifunctional display that is easy to use. Has the on and off switch on the back of the printer, light indicator at front showing it is on. Overall would recommend the printer as it is good value for money.

The printer was easy to install and prints happily! The WiFi connection works really well. I signed for regular ink replacement and am very happy with my purchase.

This printer was very easy to set up and connected to Wi-Fi without the usual hassle that some printers can have. Print quality has been very good for both documents and colour printing, and the paper tray is simple to access and refill when needed. The only issue I’ve noticed is that thicker paper or photo paper can sometimes cause occasional jams depending on the type being used. Aside from that, it’s been reliable for everyday home printing, scanning, and general use.

Read other reviews and after reading that the only possible drawback was the initial setup I took the plunge! Printer slightly bigger than expected but it has a paper tray underneath to keep paper organised and tidy so that accounts for it. Setup is, yes a little bit longer than it used to be, but you need to follow the instructions carefully to make sure you don't miss any steps. Mine didn't align the print properly during setup bit was able to go back later and complete it. It gives options of whether to sign up for ink delivery every month, stating getting first 3 months free - although sceptical I realised that in the long run it's better to have ink delivered rather than scout around for replacements. I signed up for the £4.49 a month ink, printing 50 pages. My daughter will need for school so thought this is adequate. Make sure you choose HP+ on the app to allow this else you won't get it. On signing up I ended up with 6 months free ink instead of 3 so don't pay anything yet! All in all looks good, prints well and I'm happy. Just remember this is WiFi enabled so anyone in your household can print whenever! There does seem to be an ethernet cable slot at back so possibly can link directly to router if needed. Instruction leaflet quite vague but it's because you have to download the HP app to phone to setup. Easy and simple to follow. Power cable not particularly long though but ok. Satisfied 👍😁

Really complicated to set up. In this day and age it should not be complicated at all. However the printer drops it's wifi connection after a couple of minutes. Re-connecting it multiple times does not result in a stable connection. It's only a few feet away from the router so there is no excuse for poor connection. It has been sent for repair as I didn't connect it up until I'd had it a month so couldn't just return it for a refund which is what I really wanted. I shall avoid HP printers in the future! UPDATE HP repair agent sent a replacement without cartridges which are 90% of the cost of the printer. Amazon customer services were brilliant and gave me a refund straight away without any argument. I decided to buy some new ink just to try the new one as surely 2 printers can't have the same problem..... Oh yes they can - just the same problem. They are utter rubbish don't waste your money like I did.

We needed a new printer and brought the HP , It is very nice and not too big , it is a good addition to my home office . However the ink seems to run out very quickly !

Easy set up . Frustratingly though I have experienced regular printing issues( everytime i print a document with more than a few pages - the printer disconnects in the middle of printing and the printer just says cancelling . I have wasted ALOT of paper and ink having to print documents again and half printed pages Contacted HP and after being in online chat for ages and nunerous tests. and being told to print from HP app rather than print from phone - im still experiencing problems- much to my and my familys annoyance. I have never had wifi issues at home and have full fibre broadband, so this issue is proving to be very stressful as its proving unreliable to be left to print - as documents any bigger than a few pages will not print off successfully. The printer is even situated next to a BT wifi booster. I bought the printer to replace an old HP printer id had for many years but because of those issue I can only give it 3 stars as ive not had a good experience so far with it. Each day I hope it improves but it continues to cancel documents.

The printer arrived very well packaged and protected. The setup was very easy this time (the opposite of what it was with my previous HP printer/scanner: a HP Deskjet 3630). I needed a Wi-Fi connection to download the drivers. Alternatively, you can connect the printer directly to your laptop or computer with a cable (not included). The only wire provided is for the electricity supply. The printer comes with both black and colour cartridges. The scanner light is blinking when I open the lid. This does not affect the result of the scanning (which is of good quality even at 300 dpi. I give 4* because I need to reinstall the printer EVERY TIME I want to use it, following a previous disconnection of my computer.

Coulnt' get the printer to connect tot he app to register for the ink package that came as part of the purchase so i feel this was a bit of a swizz! Printer works fine tho.
