WINSINN GT2 Idler Pulley - 20 Teeth, 5mm Bore, for 6mm Width Timing Belt, Aluminum - Ideal for 3D Printers, CNC Machines (5-Pack)

Purchased these for a Ender 5 plus conversion to core xy. Funsor makes all aluminum parts for the conversion. I will use these as replacement on the ender and a Voron 2.4 R2 printer. Many uses beyond just printers too.

Accurate specs. Well made. They seem as good or better than the stock and the price was good.

I used these WINSINN GT2 idler pulleys as part of a custom CNC printer project, and they worked out better than expected. The aluminum feels solid and well-machined, and the 20-tooth profile lined up perfectly with my 6mm timing belts. Installation was quick—everything fit snugly on the 5mm shaft, and the movement stayed smooth without any wobble or noise. I’d definitely use them again on future builds. The toothed belt running over the smooth idler bearings on the Stock Ender 5 Plus belt tensioners was causing patterns in my prints with any speed over 20mms. No one makes an after market set of belt tensioners that use these toothed idlers, so I made my own. I was instantly able to more than double print speed. After dialing in the belt tension I am now able to print at 90mms. That’s 350% faster because the idlers now mesh perfectly with the toothed belts. I’d say they are worth it

Installed on my monoprice maker select v2 instead of the smooth idler pulleys that come from the factory. Correct size.

I busted some other ones I had, so these come to the rescue, the bearing has been working reliably enough.

Machining on them looks good. Using them on M5 bolts and they are working well for me.

Bearing was working fine for a week or so. After my 8 day print, I do another one after that and it starts making noise Then after a day in my print, layer shift appeared. Opened my printer up and saw the bearing exploded. Like whats going on with the QC from this vendor

Habe diese gt2 Zahnrollen mit 20 Zähnen für meinen Ender3 V2 bestellt. Anfangs sah alles gut aus, nur nach der Montage machte der Zahnriemen Gräusche. Bei der Ursachenforschung habe ich dann bemerkt, dass die Zahnform nicht genau oder falsch ist und der Zahnriemen nicht richtig in die Vertiefungen passt. Bei den original Riemen Rädern der Metallspanner passt der Riemen perfekt. So kann man diese Chinadinger im Müll entsorgen. Echt ärgerlich und wenn man da nicht gleich draufkommt ist der Riemen auch im A....!

Diese Idler Pulleys würde ich nicht mal geschenkt nehmen. Jeder Pulley hatte einen anderen Fehler. Insgesamt liefen alle Lager sehr schwergängig. Bei einigen war die Erhöhung am Rand total schief aufgepresst. Eines habe ich optisch für gut befunden und ausprobiert, aber dieses eierte dann auf der Welle - total unbrauchbar. Leider habe ich keine Bilder gemacht, da ich die Pulleys aus Frust direkt retourniert habe. Meine persönliche Empfehlung: nicht kaufen - auch nicht mal ausprobieren. Zu schade um das CO2…
