It helped....
It's not the easiest to use but I found a video on YouTube that showed me how. It helps keep hair out of the face and makes my daughter look more professional.

I mean..... it works?
Will it help you make a braid? Yes. Is it easy to do by yourself? Heck NO. I had to have my hair completely drenched to do it myself and it took me over an hour. The braid was also pretty loose so it didn't last without Bobby pins and LOTS of hairspray.

They work I used to use them on my girls 20yrs ago. Bought theses again for the grandkids. But these have no instructions included. Not very helpful for someone who has never used them.

I like the concept, but it didn’t hold my daughter’s hair or my hair. My daughter has thin hair, I have thick hair.

Better than a YouTube video!!
The only thing that has helped me French braid my daughters hair! If you want to learn and YouTube videos aren’t helping, this is what you’re looking for!!! Buy it!

I’m braid illiterate.
…so I love it! I CANNOT CANNOT CANNOT, for the life of me, hold three separate chunks of hair on the back of my own head, let alone braid them! But this works! Is it perfect?! No… is it fun? Yes! Am I wearing a braid that I did myself? You bet! I think if you had longer hair it would be even better! I might try it with wet hair or even straighten my hair and try it. That might work better, too! Anyway, I love that crazy braid so I would recommend it!

Instructions for one braid only. I’m ordering the one from Sally’s.
To obtain more directions one must order. They are supposed to be free but have to pay S&H. I purchased these years ago at Walmart for $7 with instructors for every braid imaginable. So maybe a good product but not having complete instructions sucks.
