This has been perfect for letting me know when my mum has got out of bed. She has dementia and I was worried she might fall. I used it along side a baby monitor. I sleep heavily so the baby monitor doesn't wake me. The alarm wakes me so I can check the monitor. Perfect

A great little device for a caregiver. Instead of having to constantly listen out for movement, this alarm does it for you and alerts you as soon as it detects motion. (In our case allowing time to get upstairs to assist and prevent falls) The 4 stars are due to the volume. We find it too loud even on the low setting, (only has 3 settings) so to reduce the volume further a piece of kitchen roll folded multiple times to the size of the loud speaker and taped over has done the trick. Only a small point, it would be helpful if you could see visually what volume setting it is on. These two points aside, we have found very quickly how much difference this cost effective gadget makes, especially when caring for an elderly dementia patient. And would definitely recommend getting one despite having to muffle the sound a bit.

Definitely does the job, however very loud

Bought this to get notified when my dad , who has Dementia, gets out of bed. No need for any kind of installation, just placed it near the bed. The patient can be safe in bed with the carer being free to be anywhere in the house, as it is portable . I wouldn't mind an option of a softer notification BUT still- GREAT value for money

Excellent item, this provided reassurance and comfort to a partner when their partner was continually getting out of his bed / chair and then falling. Rather than forced to sit watching their partner afraid of sleeping this provides reassurance that should the individual move the alarm sounds to warn you. Similar systems used in hospital and nursing homes. Would recommend

It works well, so why only three stars? We are using it as an alarm to alert a carer that a patient is out of bed. Great. But the designers have clearly never used it in a real situation. At 4 am, the patient triggers the alarm, and the carer attends. Her attending triggers the alarm again - and every time they pass the 'zone' in and out of the patient's room. It needs a 'dwell after triggering' feature so that it goes silent for, say, twenty seconds or so while the carer attends.

Es perfecto, funciona muy bien, ahora si mi amiga puede dormir tranquila y si su madre se levanta ella ya va a su habitacion.

ik ben zelf verpleegkundige en werk met een ander alarm passend bij verpleeg afdeling binnen een ziekenhuis. maar indien een ouder persoon valgevaarlijk is dan is dit een perfecte oplossing. je hoeft niet meer wakker te liggen. het alarm hoor je echt wel. bereik is goed van pager en sensor.
