They are the perfect size. They’re not awkward light the larger ones. I can actually use them without fear of dropping my hot dish. Great heat resistance, also I love them!

These Mini Oven Mitts feel extra thick and "cushiony" compared to others I own. They are comfortable to use and provide good insulation against heat. Even though they are labeled as "mini" they cover my hands up to my wrists. I like that they give my hands more freedom of movement than longer mitts. The fabric and cushioning of the mitts hold up well to laundering. Upon my first use, I accidentally spilled hot chicken grease on them. The mitts protected my hands well but were stained a greasy yellow. I pretreated the stains with full strength dish soap. Then, following the enclosed fabric care instructions, I washed them in cool water on a gentle cycle and then hung them out to dry. After the wash, they looked as good as new. Therefore, I think that they are a well made product.

These KitchenAid oven mitts are the perfect size! It's about time someone come up with a functional half mitt. Large, full size oven mitts are always so awkward. I've probably had more mishaps trying to use them than just sticking with a standard pot holder. That bulkiness is a thing of the past. These mitts fit great and have silicone stripes exactly where you need them to grip the pan safely and keep it in place. The silicone part is super shiny, which my husband doesn't like, but give me the functionality any day - shine or not. I would buy these for any cook or baker in my life. I absolutely love them!
