Amazong Tool!
I have used this to make 100 holes for fiber opticall lighting a model and it is amazing! The speed varyiables are perfetc, the case is nice, and the press itself works perfectly to keep me from "freehand accidents" Well done!

Far from a precision tool.
So I finally pulled the trigger and ordered the Arrow Mini drill pen with the bench top press. It came in a fancy box that I knew I would never use once the drill press was assembled. The drill is light weight and pretty nice. I do question the speed of the drill. I’ve been woodworking for close to 40 years and usually the smaller the drill bit the higher the speed. 900RPM seems pretty slow considering you are using micro sized drill bits but it does drill. The problem I have and what really pisses me off is the drill press. When the drill press is brought down to the drilling position the drill bit is not centered to the clearance hole (see pics). What happens is when you drill through your piece it hits the side of the drill press and drills into it. There is no adjustment since the 2 screws permanently mount the neck to the base. The other issue I have is the head is not straight and tilted back without any adjustments (see pics) so when you drill its at an angle. The head doesn’t slide when drilling down and binds up too. I’ll probably still use it for minor drilling but I wanted to let everyone know that it’s not a precision tool.

FINAL UPDATE on 2.17.26: It turns out the drill pen had a defect that wouldn't allow it to hold a charge. The company sent me a new one, two years out. However, the new one works fine, so I'm happy. IF you end up with a problem, email the company (the email address is on their website). And email again if they don't respond. I dinged this one star for taking so long to offer help, but am happy they did. UPDATE: After a year I finally heard from the manufacturer. They are sending me a new drill pen. I will update this review after I get it and use it. First Review: This product could be amazing but it has a MAJOR FLAW: The 'Drill Pen' does not hold a charge. You have to charge it before use EVERY TIME because the charge depletes even when it's not being used. The developers really messed up on this one. I reached out to them through their website, got one response saying they would get back to me, and I never heard from them again. VERY DISAPPOINTING.

If you like to work with small things this is a wonderful drill set. Get it with the drill stand.
