Give me paperbook training manuals - I will still watch videos, But i want reference books
Yes, you can watch YouTube videos on how to use Photoshop, and I have, but I like to have PAPER in the form of a book in front of me as I work through the OFFICIAL teaching manual. I don't know why, but it feels good to know I am being taught by the people who wrote the software.

Good introduction but some explanations are not perfect
Good book to try to learn a very complicated software package. It also comes with an online version of the book which is nice if you are using two screens. Sometimes the instructions could be better, it will say to select something but doesn't show were that can be found on the interface. I have had to look up some items on the Internet to get clarifications. It also sometimes has a side panel to discuss a feature but you haven't gotten to that topic in the course yet which is a bit confusing.

AN EXCELLENT BOOK
This book is clear, comprehensive, well-illustrated, and very well-written. There is no point in paying for an annual Adobe Photoshop subscription if one can't take every advantage of this fabulous program. I have been using Photoshop for decades ever since it first came out. This book will allow me to make use of the wonderful AI features in the program and other stuff I have not used before. Well worth every penny I paid. Thank you for this great book.

Good reference
The book is a bit overwhelming at first, but it has coming in hand when editing and using it as reference and a guide on getting things done. Still a lot to learn but the book is really good help.

Amazing book for everyone who learns PS. There were no issues with downloading the necessary files from the link provided in the book. Fast delivery, however, the book was put in a thin cardboard envelope, and it was a bit damaged, which was upsetting.

Book is ok to read but free web version of book is better to use on iPad next to computer since you can read screen shots more clearly. The printed book shows screens but difficult to read all the stuff Adobe packs on the main window. My main complaint is that the book tries to cover too much stuff and seems to try to satisfy Adobe’s cloud based apps which are often aimed at designers, rather than photographers. Also the really hard task most Classroom buyers need help with is printing using a printer, like Epson or Canon. But a lot of space is given primary focus to CMYK color profile and preparing files to send to outside lab and less than two pages to sending files to home printer. Most of the photographers I know want help using Photoshop and their printers. I think those who work in CMYK and send stuff to labs know most of the stuff in the book. I think Adobe needs to have the writers focus less on the fancy stuff and to think more on the basics and who is most likely to buy their books or how they control what’s covered in the book. I’ve worked with Photoshop since the 80s and I still need refreshers on selecting, layers, tools, etc. Photoshop is a huge system. Add on Lightroom and it’s mind boggling. The Photoshop Classroom is like taking 4 years of college in one year.

I've used this for reference rather than linear classroom study. Well written generally and side notes provide useful info and references to relevant sections in book. I've found very useful.

I was initially pleased to find an early release Adobe photoshop book. Having to get from America which was not an issue. Delivery time was as expected nice and quick. Firstly I did contact Amazon to leave delivery instructions on safe place to leave parcel which was ignored. I picked the book up to find the packaging was extremely thin plastick bag. Most books are packaged in a book box to stop the book from being damaged. I opened the thin plastic bag to find the book kind of bent. Very dissapointing. I tried to find feed back on Amazon site (Australia) but the only option i had was to leave review! I would have preferred email my concern rather than this review.at over a $100 Ibook was not impressed. Please Amazon get your act together when packaging. The book itself is extremely informative very straight forward well written. As described lessons in a book. Well worth the money. If it wasn't for Amazon I would have given 5 Stars
