Hair La Vie Live Conscious Clinical Formula Hair Growth Vitamins for Women and Men w/Biotin, Collagen & Saw Palmetto (Pack of 1)

I am a 61 year old African American female and I’ve been taking Hair La Vie Clinical formula for about 5 years now. I mostly order directly from their website but when I need them fast I order from Amazon. My results have been great. My hair had started thinning due to stress and menopause. My hair is much thicker, stronger, longer and sheds a lot less. I could see a big difference after about 3 months. I take 2 a day with food to avoid any nausea. I did a lot of research before purchasing and I truly believe that these are the best hair supplements on the market. Their ingredients are top notch! They are strong as they need to be to work so take with food. Consistency is key. I’ve started having bouts of alopecia about 4 years ago so I take these vitamins faithfully in order to keep the rest of my hair strong. If it wasn’t for the episodes of alopecia, my hair would be even thicker, longer and fuller. I will never stop taking these hair supplements.

Over the past 7 years, I've had a roller coaster of a hair journey. I lost all of my hair from chemotherapy in 2018 (ovarian cancer) and used Nutrafol to grow it back. It was effective. but I ended up putting weight on and having digestive issues. I discontinued Nutrafol, changed my diet and lost 35 pounds. Of course, the stress from losing weight as well as the discontinuation of Nutrafol made my hair shed like crazy. On top of that, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. The weight loss, stress from diagnosis and multiple surgeries really took a toll on my hair and I couldn't stop it from shedding! After things settled down from treatment, I contemplated taking another hair supplement. Fearing weight gain again, I did some research and decided to try Hair La Vie. I cautiously started out with 2 capsules at lunch and progressed to taking a third one at night with dinner. I didn't start to see drastic results until I started taking the 3rd capsule daily. After 5-6 months, there are multiple new hairs growing in and I am not shedding as much--especially when washing my hair. I'm shedding at a sustainable, normal rate now. I'm also taking a powdered collagen supplement daily, which really helps build strong new hair growth. Also, drink plenty of water and try to eat as many whole foods as possible, including adequate protein. The supplement will work better with healthy food and fluid intake. My advice is to be consistent and be patient. All great quality hair supplements take time to work. I haven't experienced any weight gain, bloating or gastrointestinal issues with this supplement.

I have noticed that my hair is growing extremely fast and my eyelashes too. I believe anywhere I have hair, it’s growing faster. I’m not so sure it’s filling in though and I’ve been using it for months. I do admit that I’m only using half a dose to save money. My nails have been getting terribly brittle lately, and I found out that hair vitamins can actually do that.

Where to start.. this vitamin has been my holy grail. I’m in my 30s and I noticed my hair was thinning and ignored it thinking it would just get better. Well, unfortunately it didn’t. I took my time, visited my dermatologist, did my research and landed on this vitamin. I will say at first my stomach had a hard time digesting it but after about a month it got much better (please take them with food). My hair is now growing on my hairline where I haven’t seen hair in years. It takes time though. They are baby hairs, but clearly your hair has to start somewhere. I’m on month three of taking these. I would also like to note that it was recommended to me to also take omega 3 which I am taking in combination which I believe has also helped. It may not be for everyone but unfortunately there is no quick fix to hair growth. Be consistent, it will pay off!

I belive I was influenced to purchase this from a tik tok ad. I tried it for 4 months. That was about as long as I could stand with this product. My opinion is that the pills are too large, filled with the A sawdust color substancev that's in every other supplement. As soon as you open the bottle there is a heavy fish smell. Why can't the potency be placed into 1 soft gel or capsule? Then the cost each time with out seeing results. Frankly it did not work for me. I took another product for 6 mo and had results with a better taste. So try this product if you have time and money to blow. You might be in the percentage of folks it actually works for.

Please beware.. I decided to use this after comparing the ingredients with Nutrafol. The costs and reviews were a higher and better (and cheaper than Nutrafol). For awareness, I used Nutrafol in 2021 and never had any issues with it; I am an African American female. This product is horrible. It irritated my scalp, like inflamed it with red bumps (still dealing with it), itchy, keeping me up at night scratching my scalp, despite me taking benadryl, and also my hair fell out. So, it did the opposite from what it was suppose to do. My hair stylist, who I see every three weeks, was baffled by how my hair deteriorated over two months when I first started taking this. It became dry and brittle no matter how much I was keeping it oiled. Please beware and listen to your body when you take this vitamin. I thought everything was okay until I started noticing how my hair was falling out and noticing more my my scalp was inflamed. I stopped taking this product.

I have had very good results using these capsules. They contain horsetail extract and bamboo (for silica), these ingredients are touted in other hair growth products. Biotin and Saw Palmetto are also known for improving hair.
