Definitely almost knocked into people and things over. For flights, it can certainly fit in most standard overhead bins, but mostly horizontal or diagonally folded down. I was allowed to take it on flights, but then again, it definitely doesn’t fit in the sizer for domestic flights. I’d be for stricter airlines, they’d probably make you check it. It can fit one stuff folded down, but not a whole lot. It’s comfortable, but carrying a 20-ish pound baby with all the accoutrements will wear on you shoulders, back, and legs. Again, I’m not experienced backpacker/hiker. If you’re used to wearing a 30 lbs rucksack and marching for hours, I’m sure this will be a breeze. The sun canopy is toggles and gets velcroed into the back, wish they were snaps.
