Maybelline Great Lash - Brownish Black

Love the mascara used for many years .. glad I can order it on here as I can’t always get out .. 😍

I’m 51 and used this mascara for years a long time ago. It’s an iconic classic. I’ve used SO many mascaras in past years that despite the name and hype leave my lashes with clumps and even worse flecks of product on my eyelids and under eye on application.I even tried the top selling mascara on Amazon which was awful. Left very unattractive lumps and a right mess. Easy to smudge also. I tried a few more. I have very fair blonde lashes so was very frustrated.I decided to see if this was still around. Yep! I was thrilled and hoped it was as good as I can remember and it is. It goes on immediately with effect, I don’t need 10 layers to have nice lashes. I’ve found 3 is ideal. My lashes look really long but also natural. To be honest I’m surprised how long they look! It doesn’t smudge and leaves no flecks of black anywhere. I’m so happy and this will be my go-to for life.Those as old as me would remember this being so popular and I hope those who have never tried it give it a go. It beats some of the highly advertised brands easily. Great value. Highly recommended!

Love this mascara! Bought in my local supermarket but ran out and quicker to order on here. It is a very good black and I rate it but I knock one star off because its very hard to remove after but it does the job.. eyelash look long...if go over a lot can look a bit clumpy but it's still a great mascara and I would recommend.

Llevo posiblemente 20 años usando esta máscara. Cepillo pequeño, no muy líquida, no apelmaza, dura muchísimo, aguanta bastante la humedad pese a no ser waterproof. No pienso cambiarla en mi vida.

Ich verwende diese Mascara jetzt schon zum 5. Mal und habe bisher noch keine bessere finden können. Die Bürste ist eher klein, sodass man gezielt die Wimpern tuschen kann ohne sich stark zu beschmieren (leider habe ich das Problem mit größeren Bürstenköpfen oft). Zudem lassen sich auch die unteren Wimpern sehr gut mit dieser Bürste tuschen.Ergebnis:Die Wimpern werden länger und voluminöser ohne zu verkleben. Zudem verschmiert die Mascara nicht so schnell, sodass auch beim Weinen (leider muss ich beim Lachen sehr schnell weinen :D ) die Mascara nicht gleich verschmiert.Trotzdem sie sehr gut hält ohne zu verschmieren, lässt sie sich problemlos wieder abschminken. Hierfür verwende ich lediglich ein Mikrofaser-Aschminktuch mit warmen Wasser. Auch ohne zusätzliche Reinigunsprodukte lässt sich die Mascara komplett entfernen.Fazit: Meine absolute Lieblingsmascara die sicherlich so schnell durch keine andere ersetzt wird, auch wenn ich gern mal neue Produkte ausprobiere. Bisher habe ich jedoch immer wieder zurück zu der Mascara gegriffen, was sicherlich sehr aussagekräftig ist. Absolute Kaufempfehlung meinerseits, noch dazu weil sie preislich einfach unschlagbar ist.

Oldie but goody that gets the job done. I love the brush that doesn't clump, and it is a great price. I've been down the road of buying the expensive newer mascaras, but I was looking for a black/brown and this was one of the few brands that carry it. After trying it I wondered why I ever stopped using it. It's a great value for the money.
